  1. Eric/Andy, Semi related but do either of you have children? Plan on having children? I only ask because I am looking at the Euro 2 door sports options next year, and struggle if I really need 4 doors. The V is a great DD, but I drove a buddies R8, and it was just not comparable.
  2. So, been busy with work/travel. Finally found time to finish up the IC set up, just in time for the snow LOL. It came out even better than expected. The intercooler although universal, basically bolted right up using the OE bumper supports! Size and spacing were absolutely perfect. I used scrap piped for the hot and cold side. Waiting on the BOV, but besides that, dump tubes, and better clamps-we are injectors away from glory pulls. http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/IMG_20141111_083249691.jpg http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/IMG_20141111_083238203.jpg http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/IMG_20141111_083230460_HDR.jpg I used a radiator I had laying around I picked form the junkyard out of a Audi 200 turbo that looked new(er) and a set of cooling fans from the same junk yard run. The rad is 1/2 the thickness of the Hinson that came with the car, but it has done well thus far. I sold the Hinson for $400, so considering the cost of the IC, I actually profited $200 by installing the IC. Showing was done with scraps and aluminum duct foil tape.
  3. Yeah that's why I asked- figured you were low. I want to stick with the OE Computer as long as possible. good to know though
  4. as stated-you need more. Depending on what they are I may be interested in buying from you. Would have to be drop in/high impedance though...
  5. I'd consider it. I wont be driving it this winter, and it may push me to make a play for something a bit more exotic next year. Love the car though. Hit me up we can talk about it.
  6. Ls2's should drop into an Iron 6.0 correct? What would that bump compression to with 799's?
  7. Does the thing still have 2 billett 42's on it? POS should make 3000whp when its done. It is CR's duty to get down there and fuck shit up! If I was not 100% booked today I'd drive my happy ass down to join the fun.
  8. I believe you pay taxes for the state/county the car will be registered in.
  9. This is going to get good. Next up-write a love letter to his chick from Wiggs, professing his love for her.
  10. Give Vlad a call. He may be able to help you unload ti over seas. Honestly, you could sell this car for more than asking if you can get ti to Russia or UAE.
  11. Do we have confirmation that these are the same asshat?
  12. It would be hard since the Chassis these motors come in are so different- for most a single is just easier to fit.
  13. Your Nuts. Incline Village/Lake Tahoe area is some of the most beautiful land in the Country. Couple that with stupid low or no taxes, driving distance to Vegas/San Fran. Win-Win for anyone making decent money. But the "where" in Nevada is very important.
  14. You can do what ever you want to do, this is 'merica after all. But, the OP is asking about moving for a JOB, no to get his rocks off. Best job option long term it seems is option A
  15. And this is why I stick to budget builds! Something fails-its no money lost, and the time I spend finding ways to cut comers to meet my goals is enjoyable to me. Once you lose the enjoyment (whatever that may be) then its time to move on. Did you ever considered turning down the wick? I was looking at Supras last year, and I figured one would be most enjoyable with stock motor/very mild build @800ish whp. You can set it up with he right parts and have a dead nuts reliable car that makes great power and puts a smile on your face every time you drive it.
  16. Second in line for the cam junk. I picked up a 6.0 short block for dirt and need all those parts
  17. Option A. IMO, you only MOVE if you MOVING UP. As for option B, A lateral move to a company going full remote (see-easy to fire someone you don't interact with) and labels as an "Advisor" IE-temporary is sketchy to me. Family is a factor you can measure (different for everyone), so its not factored into my option
