  1. I agree with both of you but have already chose to live with it as it does not cause any problems and its not a huge problem. ya it sucks bc it happened when i had maybe 500 miles on the bike but oh well

Also im not willing to part out the bike, too much work involved in doing so. Just looking to unload this off of my hands, if it doesnt sell ill just keep it

  2. Selling my beloved 2012 triumph 675r

I bought this bike brand new last fall and since then ordered & installed lots of parts from ridersdiscount.

    Mods are as follows

Fmf full ss apex exhaust system

Attack rear sets ( set up for gp shift )

    Michelin power race tires 120/190

Renthal sprocket kit ( down one in the front, stock size in rear )

    DID 520 chain

    Renthal adjustable clip ons

    BMC race air filter

    Apex man brake lever guard

    Puig double bubble windscreen

Triumph kit oil cap oil dipstick steering stem nut & shift link

    Intagrated rear turn signals

Flush mount signals for the front

The bike has a base map on it from tune ecu, I have the cable & disc in order to fully tune the bike

The bike has a little over 2000 miles on it. It starts & runs very strong everyday & its a blast to ride on & off the track. The bike will come with an extra rear 190 tire & a triumph 1050 throttle tube.

The bike is in great shape, never been down or tipped over I have all service records & receipts for all parts bought for the bike

Im not looking to make any money off of selling this bike, I would just like to sell it as is, im asking $10900

All questions are welcome, no test rides please unless deposit is put down. you can contact me here or via my email @ kawasakiguy14@gmail.com

The only bad thing, as seen in picture of cluster. While in florida for our track day at Jennings gp the bike sat in the sun & the windscreen acted like a magnifying glass & it melted a tiny hole ontop of the cluster by the shift lights. I put a piece of tape over the hole to protect the cluster from the elements. I contacted the dealer & this was not a warrantable matter so I left it alone bc I did not want to spend over $1000 just for a new cluster. Everything still works & functions without a problem. The bike sits on a battery tender when not in use & usually on stands.

  3. Yeah this was posted on WERA with a pretty deep discussion. Sounds like there are some "safety" issues that Mongo pointed out. Granted I think those guys error a little too much on the caution side, but whatever.

Someone has run some days there and if it were closer Id consider it.

John where's this thread at on wera, i can't find it

  4. Selling my frank Thomas one piece suit, picked this up off a guy from the Wera boards, only worn twice, never been down. Some scuffs on the knee pucks and that's it. The suit is black in color and the size is a 48/58.

Asking 100 shipped or 90 picked up, pics upon request please as im not home right now to take them.

  5.

Quit being a va jay jay and get that 675r on the track like it was meant to be.. I don't know what intimidates you about a "track." It's just closed course riding.. No need to go racing or riding above your comfort zone.. If you can do 1 a year.. Awesome.. If you can do 20 a year.. even more awesome.. But it's silly to own such a race bike and ride on back roads in ohio or deals gap or wherever..

    + 1 million

Get that track bike to a track and really enjoy it instead of putting around on the street.

Reminds me of older guys who will go out and buy a Ferrari or a lambo and drive 65 mph in the slow lane on the freeway. Such a waste

  6. I think both tracks are fun and honestly like the lay outs but i got over the tar strips at gingerman and loved it. I still feel that riding at Nelson is very comparable to riding on the street and I've been to both tracks more than once, between the two i would choose gingerman every time.

But bc Nelson is closer it's cheaper to go there and despite the track, i still have fun everytime i go

  7. I rode dubguys 675r this past summer and loved it. Loved it so much that i went out and bought a 2012 675r and immediately started riding and throwing parts at it, and deff can't wait to hit the track with it in march.

It's has a very nice torque curve and is a blast to ride and just looks nothing short of amazing. Im 6'3" and have no trouble riding it, but on long boring rides, my wrist will start to ache but i never have that problem when at the track. They do make aftermarket clip ons that are risers to make things a bit easier and aftermarket rearsets always make a big difference.

On a side note, casper why do you have a track oriented bike when you don't go to the track

    Well enjoy....
