I have up for sale practicaly brand new velocity stacks. I installed them and then rode the bike to and from dynotune motorsports and thats it. I paid 240 shipped for them. Im asking 210 shipped or 200 for local pick up. I still have the box they came in with all the lil peanuts and a factory pro sticker!!! Sorry for the blury pics, they were taking with my camera phone I dont have any other pics of them as they still are installed on the bike, but i can have them off and in the box in no time if anyone is interested Thanks josh

i heard on tv that iron man 2 comes out in summer of 2010

Thats what i have read to. its still possible to do twisties but if does take more effort to turn and such which is fine by me. Satan, im stretching it b/c im going to hit the drag strip this summer and thats he reason why im going to be doing it. Plus with the extensions, if i dont like them, then its way easier to take them off than doing a whole swing arm. So i think im going to go ahead and do it, and if it turns out worse than i would like, then its going to be easier to remove it and go back to where im at now....

well im not really looking to make big power. Im most like going to add one more power adder which will be velocity stack and get it tuned and probly be done with the bike as power wise. I already have power commander with a muzzy exhaust and a k&n filter to go along with it. I also did read read about the whole center of gravity thing andm lowering the bike and stuff. I was really hoping not to lower the bike but just to extend it...

Im leaning towards doing this to my zx10. im been doing alot of reading and such on zx10r.net and collecting info and facts about performing this mod to my bike. So i guess im on here to get everyones opinion on doing so. I want to buy and install the extensions and stretch it as far as the extensions will allow me. Im still kinda worried about the handling aspect of it, as i still enjoy curves a lil but but i love doing straight line and i plan tohit the drag strip this yr. One thing im still questioning is that some people say that if you put the extensions on, you have to lower your bike. From reading fellow riders post on zx10r.net and seeing that they just installed the extensions and a longer chain/ brake line. Can anyone here confirm this lil myth... Also im wondering if anyone here has riden or is riding with the swing arm extensions and if they could tell me how much of a diff it made with the handling of the bike and the over all performance of the bike. Alls i plan to do is stretch it 6inches and add a longer chain and brake line. for now i dont plan on gearing it if anyone is wondering. So anyone feed back is welcome and much appreciated

Here are 2 better pictures taken with an actual camera instead of my phone. And yes i know its not candy plasma blue Putty eat your heart out

haha you would say that

I forgot to mention that the bike is now debadged. I really like the clean look with no stickers and such.

update on things The color is candy plasma blue, and the pics are of the pieces being painted and how they turned out. Then there are pics of the install. While the bike was down, i heat wrapped the exhaust and i also added cf mirrors and cf bar ends. Soon to be added will be cf heel gaurds and maybe a cf front fender along with a cf chain gaurd and rear fender. And after those things or befor i will add some HID's and some frame sliders. So enjoy the pics and hope to see you guys around..

Glad to see that you walked away from your lil crash. Its always nice to read about people who can get up and walk away from crashing no matter how bad it was Hope you heal fast and get back on the road

Do you know if there is any diff between the 04-05 style and an 07? Just wondering b/c i would be highly interested if they would fit my 07 zx10r

Of course im ok, i just know how to fall and not hurt myself too bad.

I just put the pipe on not more than 2 wks ago. I decided to go with the blue instead bc i love the color. And yes im doing the 07 kawasaki blue.

well slid out during a turn and here go some of the pics. Sorry the pics arent the greatest, they were taken with my camera phone. and the aftermath for this event is a fractured wrist and some little scratches now this is what i just put on the bike a week and half prior to this event. power commander 3 and a muzzy exhaust and this is how the bike sites now fairings laid out on the floor getting ready to be sent out and the decals removed and the fairings to be painted candy plasa blue added this while the bike is apart, and now i have a full exhaust with k&n filter and a map on the power commander 3 to support these mods. hoping to get it on the dyno once put back together and a final tune and some numbers And i know some of you may be asking why im repainting the entire bike a diff color when the damage isnt that bad,. Well once i laid eyes upon the candy plasa blue, i always wanted that color instead of the passion red, and now that i have a chance to repaint 1 fairing, i might as well do them all. So the paint is ordered and shouold be here by the end of the week, along with the new mirrors. and im hoping to have the bike back together and riding on the street by mid of next week...As long as the doctor says i can get back on and my wrist is fine

i wish i could join but my bike is wrecked and getting fixed up and awaiting more parts that are in the mail...if only it was another week away i would be out in full force with the new looking bike

update to this my neighbor who went to school with this kid is trying to organize a ride tomm afternoon for the funeral. he plans on meeting at the westerville rec center @ 1pm. its on cleveland ave just befor you get to polaris blvd. From there we are going to ride to the church and then from the church to the cemetery. All this is weather dependant. Hes going to ride regaurdless unless its pouring down rain and i told him i would to. Hes doing his best to organize this ride, but for only 17 hes not too tied into the motorcycle world yet and i told him i would help him out the best i can. So if anyone can join in on this ride, it would mean alot to him and his friend and family. his cell phone number is 614*805*8646 his name is sean and if you would like any other details on this, feel free to give him a call anytime between now and tomm afternoon and if he doesnt answer, just leave him a message and he will call you back asap. thanks for reading -
