its actually my buddies i am thinking about getting from him cause he doesn't want it anymore and it just seats in my garage... i have drove the bike it runs very smooth just annoying when shifting since the clutch is bent down

yeah it would be to get fixed.

the clutch is bent down and the front fascia is broken and the tank is dented in just curious if i could get a estimate from someone who knows more about it then me.

yeah the gears do just rev out when you try to give it gas now and like i said first gear is point less.... thanks for all the info flounder and everyone else

well basically at the end of summer it was popping into neutral when i would go to shift in to second from first and one day when i shifted the whole bike died on 270 so i had to push it in second gear to get it go with out stalling in first, first was gone and all other gears were slipping bad. so i limped it all the way home. and i would say i have enough mechanical skill to do it if its easy i just wasn't sure how hard it was.

i have a 2000 gsxr 600 and i need to replace the clutch plates how hard is this to do? should i take it to a shop?

o i see...ya him and a buddy of mine raced right after he got it finished to see the difference it made this time he beat my buddies lightning.

so i am looking for new tires for my gsxr 600 my rear is a 180/55/17 and my front is a 120/70/17... i have been lookin at the Metzler racetec just was wondering if they were any good or what your suggestions on tires are.
