This site is by far the slowest one that I visit. Major slow. I had thought it was just my set up but it seems I'm not the only one.

We might have an occassional interest if the work scheduling works out. With my work it is hard to plan things i like this in advance.

Our "touring" bikes are an old VF1000F Interceptor (mine) and a 86 VFR750 (wife's). We probably fall into the sport-touring category. "Cruising" is a relative term. Although it we do get some interesting looks with all the camping gear loaded on the bikes. Complete with full kitchen including the kitchen sink!

Thanks for the welcomes. I'm gonna take a WAG and say that this site is primarily sportbike riders that are mostly a little younger than myself. Oh well. Can you put up with a geezer on a dinosaur sport bike? I'll try to keep up!

Just stumbled on this site and thought I would check it out. My wife and I both ride and try to get out when we can. Do a little light touring and some moto-camping, too. I'll just snoop around and try to get a feel for the place.
