Well, the leak worked out pretty well. Drove the car about 60 miles yesterday and the TCC solenoid likes to stick when the transmission gets warm. So, time to put a real one in it and fix the leak while the pan is off. ... and for the record, one wheel peel owns.

That doesn't sound like enough boost to be getting knock. Are you sure it isn't false knock? You could have a FUBAR motor mount or something equally as stupid.

How about 24mpg with AC and 10 second slips? No trailer needed.

As of now I'm letting it leak. I'll fix it soon I just wasn't motivated today. I'm just glad to be driving it... If I have enough time this week I might get it to the track on Friday. We'll see.

I don't know what type of boost levels you're running but I'll give you an example... My frist Regal I always had the boost set at 21psi with 94 octane in the car. Any time I would put 92 in it I would have to lower the boost a pound or two or it would pull timing in 3rd gear. So yes, there is a difference, and what Draco said is correct and what I am too lazy to type.
