Most dedicated turbocharged drag cars have the intercooler mounted there. This car has been in the works for a while, I don't know if it's alive yet or not. Seems like overkill and a half, I'll be impressed if it doesn't overpower the chassis.

People use Powerstroke ICs in GNs, the problem is with the El Camino there isn't as much room in the grill. Also, when using that IC with a GN you have to cut quite a bit to make it fit. I MIGHT be able to do something like that, but I think that core will be too large. I have a stock location laying around that came off my blue T-Type that will be plenty to get into the 10s, I just don't want to scrape it everywhere I drive.

Been doing some research after looking at the room I have up front for a FMIC... seems like using a stock location IC might be easier (I already have one anyway). That really blows, I hate how low the intercoolers hang down.
