  1. Sounds like fun, I have wanted to check that place out. It seems all of the indoor ranges are about 45min to an hour from me in Middletown. :( I have been to Target World and Point Blank down in Blue Ash, but haven't ventured north to any ranges yet.

I keep saying if someone opens a range in the Dayton mall area they would make bank.... The only one close to there is sim trainer off of Dryden in south Dayton and that's a members only place. My wife and I aren't about to throw down $300 a year to go to a gun range.

  2. I went to a local Walmart about 3weeks ago because I got the scoop they had ammo in stock only to find out that someone came in and spent $1400 on ammo about 45 minutes before I got there. He bought out .380, 9mm, 40, 45 and a good amount of various rifle rounds as well as the buck shot they got in. The guy at the counter said they got about 3 cases of all the handgun ammo in and he took almost everything they got in. Needless to say I've seen limits at all the walmarts now. Around here anyway....

  3. I run deliveries all over Cincy and Dayton if I know that there is a Walmart around where I'm going I give them a call to see if they have anything in stock before I stop. It's getting not so impossible to find ammo in stock at Walmart anymore. Mostly because they are limiting it to 3 boxes per address per day.

  4. Don't worry I got scoffed at a month ago asking the same question. If nothing else major happens you'll be looking at being able to do that in about a year.....

On that note, find a shop that regularly carries ammo, most of them are going to be shops with ranges attached. Go there as often as you can and pick up the maximum they will allow you to buy. I've collected around 700 rounds of 9mm in the last couple of weeks by stopping by vandailia range and armory old, old English, and Walmart. I've yet to pay more than $15 a box. I'm pretty proud of that, as much as that hurts me to say.

  5. Took my wife to the range for the first time. She shot the M&P 22 a few times and then the 9mm. She was way more excited about the 9mm. Lol

All in all a good Sunday.

I was in there on Monday to just have a look around its a super nice facility, I need to take my wife there to shoot soon.

  6. what is this motorcycle related content doing here? this is a "guns, fuck ya" and "bash magley" forum.

but yes, i really hope ducati gets their shit together nicky has suffered for too long

Ducati is far from together. And reading the reports from the higher ups at Ducati they have a long way to go. Right now they are better off fielding 4 CRT bikes.... But with Audi at their side I suspect they will start looking more put together mid season. It's sad to say. I was hoping Iannone would have a better shot at making Marc look a little less of a prodigy child.

  7. 27 actually. Down from 29 on the old motor. Stretched gears in the T56 combined with a 3.08 rear gear = 1500 RPM @ 70 MPH.

Sooooo what your saying is if you had the room to go vroooooommmm!!!! It would easily kick 200mph in the teath.

  8. 9mm & .40 glock models are hard to find. Only place i called that had a 26 in stock was Gun Envy.. And they had one.

Asked for G19 just to see if anyone had that in, and nope

I've ran across a couple of glock 23's in gen 4 I was lucky to find my 17 a couple of weeks ago and none the less not get raped when buying it.

  9. Marlin 925M, Fiocchi 40 Gr JHP 1910FPS. I should point out I'm shooting down hill. You always aim lower down or uphill but I don't and I don't have one of those fancy range finders to calculate the true ballistic range. At 100yards it's 4" high.

I don't think killing something is a good idea past 150 with it.

    Found this on some site.

Here is a sight-in chart for the .22 WMR 40 gr. at 1900 fps MV

    +0" - 25 yds

    +1" - 50 yds

    +0" - 100 yds

    -6" - 150 yds

    -20" - 200 yds

Nice! Thanks very much, and I have the same gun. I love it! And I wouldn't really attempt to kill anything with it past 100 with it. I mostly use it for target shooting but from time to time its been used for bird control out where I used to live.

  10. Nevermind I have the 40 and I am wanting a 9 to accompany it. Seem like I can find lots of 40's

I saw a 226 on armslist last week that was a 9mm. I think the guy had a reasonable price on it too. Something like $800. Stainless with cherry handgrips. It was beautiful. I'll try to find it and post it here. And I don't know where you are but vandailia armory had quite a few 226's in stock when I was there last week. Actually had the biggest stock of sigs I've seen.

  11. Thanks. Not sure i can cancel.

Shot another 40rnds of 223 and 40rnds of 22mag. The 22WMR drops around 16" at 200 yards when zeroed at 100. Friggin windy and the shots were not very tight.

What 22 mag are you shooting? I've had mine zeroed in at 100 yards but haven't gotten the chance to gauge it any further.
