there is some fuel additives that will lessen the effect of ethanol on your fuel system. If you're near the southend of Columbus, hit up Independent Motorsports and they will more than likely have something that can get you taken care of.

There is a company called CycleChex, but it is completely worthless. I checked a VIN on a bike I KNEW had been salvaged title, and it didnt pull up anything. I imagine it has gotten better through the years, but I wouldn't trust it.

So It's bee a little over three years since I moved south. I don't know if by way of stupidity or just bad judgment, I'm on my way back at the end of February. I agree there are millenials than boomers, but I would also say there is a less percentage of them paying into the system vs what boomers did. Think of all the sub-30 aged people born into and living off the system with their 4 kids. That is what will suck us dry, not people living longer.

Front or rear? Front is pretty expensive even used. The rear you can even use a second gen sv650 wheel I believe. So more options.

Will still be doing my fab stuff on the side once I get settled in and find a place to do it. Main focus is to get Independent back in the spotlight.

Well prep yourself boys and girls, I plan to get the dealership back in the swing of things and earn OR business just as I did before. Any ideas of events and specials everyone would like to see, I am all ears.

I've been gone for a few years but coming. Had a good relationship with a lot of OR people when I left, but I don't see anyone making reviews for the store anymore. Curious what has changed(if anything) and what could be better? Can't wait to be back riding with everyone in the spring.

Completely agree. Just disappointing as honda has always been my goto brand for sportbikes and they have literally fallen off the face of earth. The CBR1000RR is still a damn good looking bike, just lacks and overall package.

Would love if honda would step up and do this, but sadly, it's not going to happen. this is about the third time this has been brought up. Even if they did come out with a $30k ish proved bike, still pointless. No better than the H2 at $25k. Not a real world everyone can get one bike. There are almost no updates for 2015 in the Honda lineup. Hopefully 2016 will be worthwhile.

i just took a deposit for the first R1M my current dealership down in Alabama can get their hands on. This bike is serious and will be hard to pass up. Only bikes even on par are the Bmw and Ducati. Honda has been a real let down with their lack of upgrades. Thinking maybe next year will be a big update year for them.

So I've been gone for a little over three years now and think it is time to move back north. Some of you will remember me. I imagine a few of you bought your motorcycle from me at Independent Motorsports(Cycle Search). I'm lookong forward to being back in Columbus and with a cool group of riders. Looks like things are lining up for me to be back at Independent Motorsports again well. I plan on building the IndMoto/OR relationship to where it was when I left. See you in the spring people!
