I read a GQ article from awhle ago that was pushing the Dominican Republic as a new "hotspot" for places to go for cheap and easy prostitution. The author said the women were literally thrown at him when he got into a local bar. I guess that prostitution is the country's main source of income, even more $$$ than tourism. Prostitution is only legal for poor third world countries whith average incomes of <$1 day...so I wouldn't want to live there
