  1. The guy who shipped my bike to me from FL could get it back here for you - He was cool as hell! And there's no tax when you buy out of state, unless you report it when doing your taxes next year
  2. 24 male westerville
  3. I bought it from a dealership on eBay, I guess my bike was a trade in for a car. Guy told me it was an older dude who was going through his midlife crisis...who knows for sure though. I made sure I got plenty of pics and all before I made my best offer of $5k. I was still really nervous though because it's risky buying anything you've never seen... The shipping was done through a website uship.com it's like eBay in the sense that people place bids to ship your bike or car. You just give location and when you want it, then they bid for your business. As I stated earlier, Matt from Freedom Bike and Trike made an offer of $300 and was willing to get it the next morning. Every other offer I had was closer to the $700 range...I almost was going to go to FL myself. I accepted his bid and everything worked out perfectly. He was cool as hell too, he really kept in contact with me the whole time before the shipping. Bike was picked up Monday morning in Orlando and I had it Wednesday night at 8pm.
  4. She is here! I just got my "new" 2003 CBR600RR to replace the F4i R.I.P. I got a great deal on it from FLA and she's here in OH ready for the sunshine! I've got to give a shoutout to Matt from "Freedom Bike & Trike", if you ever need a bike shipped, he is your man! I told him about the site and he may come and check it out. He found me through uship and gave me the best deal to ship my bike 1,000 miles home. So the bike is completely stock and has only 2,9xx miles on her, it was such a steal! I am ready to rip off the stock turn signals and get a pipe too. Anyway, I am super stoked and there are pics in the picture section if you wanna check her out...I am finally ready for bike night on Monday!
  5. they say a picture is worth a thousand words... I think I need a cold shower...
  6. That's awesome! I grew up in Washington Court House and lived there until I was 17. It was the best little town in America...
  7. yea, I picked up an 03 600RR with less than 3k miles on it. it's getting delivered tonight from FL, but I am still anxious...everything cost me $5300 which was better than anything local I could find. Yotaman was "the man" and did offer to help me out - thanks again! I'm excited to get out and actually ride with everyone now that I am back on 2 wheels
  8. sorry about the get off. I am just getting a new bike from my lay down, I hope you are back soon.
  9. I was up at the retail shop today and the only bike that really caught my eye was the RC51, but it's got a lot of miles on it = 26,xxx. I gave my name and number to the guy working today and he said he's got a tribal 600RR that may be available. Can you get me any more info on the 600RR you mentioned?

    Honda bikes?

I wanted to get some opinions from fellow bikers, and since you're in Columbus, I am killing 2 birds with 1 stone... I am in the market to buy a new bike. I have/had a 2001 CBR 600F4i but I wrecked it and the insurance company is buying it from me. I'll put the details and pics in the off-topic section later... So, I want to buy another honda; just seem to fit me the best and I really loved my F4i...where is a good place to buy another honda? I was lucky and found mine up at cycle search in delaware, but they also have other makes. I have seen Honda northwest, Honda Marysville, and John Hinderer all sell them, but I didn't know if anyone here had experience with another place that was solid. I've got the cash in hand, but I don't want to settle for a bike that I won't like at the end of this summer. But at the same time, I am not trying to drive to kansas to buy a bike...I am looking at upgrading too - maybe a 600RR or even RC51. If you've got any advice, please lay it on me. I want to get back on the rode so badly, and it figures the weather is finally starting to get nice! I know the day I buy my bike, it's going to start raining for 40days/40 nights. Thanks!
  11. yo. I bought my bike up there at cycle search. you guys really took care of me and I tell all my friends about my experience there
  12. i HATE the steelers so much you don't even understand! i am still new to the moto world, but i'll try to describe what it looks like...i'll get pics up too = micron slip-on, fender eliminator, conversion kit or whatever for the tail lights, upgraded windshield to a smoked and smaller turn signals for the front. it's also got some rash on the right side thanks to my first drop...and of course I hadn't put the crash pegs on yet. It's still all black with no stickers, but I need to repair the right side for perfection.
  13. what's up everyone. I am a new rider in Columbus and I found this forum via 600rr.net. I've got an '01 600 F4i and I Fing love it! hope to meet up with some local riders
