I'm an FN fanboy and have both fde 16 and 17. Mag choice is limited to factory or Emags unless you modify existing pmags. Recipricating charging handle can be a pain depending on your forward hands grip. Ambi controls are pretty much standard for everything in your price range. Trigger assembly is very simple. Even if you choose another platform I'd reccomend shooting one before you say no to it.

Believe it or not they have a recall list just like the real ones. I only know this because my father bought my daughter 2 of the solstice's and they didn't have a fused power source for some reason. Looked it up online and whoever sent him 2 new batteries with fuse cables and chargers for them as well. Just be careful what you buy and look online.

 

On another note.....there is a forum just for mods somewhere.

I reccomend staying away from a first heli with a direct drive seperate tail motor. They tend to wash out easily and its just another motor/esc that can burn out. Just about everyone carries Horizon/eflight/align products anymore. I've had every blade from the msrx up to the 400. Multiple align 450 3gx's and a few DFC's. and my biggest is a Hirobo evo with a .30 nitro. The 3 cell 450 class is by far my favorite. Batteries are cheap, parts are cheap, and they fit in a passenger side floor instead of taking up a whole back seat.

I want to lol at the mini 14 but this is another arguement for another assault weapons ban. By no means do I consider a 14 an assault rifle. Its just what the anti-gun people want to hear. Dude has some problems. Max 3 rounds per intruder IMO. Home defense rounds are made that way for a reason. I put money on brown bear and wildcat in this case.

I can't hate the guy for teaming up with one of the best. I hope Troy keeps the mod team around.
