  1. BTW- That Toyota Taco wouldn't pull it's weight in gold. Nice trucks, but a huge PITA to install a hitch on, and it may pull 7K, but it'll have a hell of a time doing so and squating the ass end the whole way.
  2. - Customer just sold his 03' Duramax 2500 Crew Cab Short bed, with Built ATS transmission, AEM Intake, Full MBRP Turbo back, and a Banks 6 Gun tuner for $28K. He only had 35K on the clock to boot Sorry Howard, he had to sell for a new GMC.
  3. The 24V cummins trucks are great trucks, and you'd be looking at getting I'd say 14 or so in the city, and maybe 18+ on the freeway depending. As far as diesels are concerned, a good 2500 Cummins Dodge (depending on hitch) can tow anywhere from 10K+. With a 5th wheel or a gooseneck, hell you're looking at well over the 16K pound mark. The cummins motors are very responsive to the aftermarket parts like the power programmers, turbo back exhaust, and a cold-air intake. You deffinately wouldn't be making a bad choice in going with a diesel truck. Granted they are louder, and ride a little harsher, but never the less, you'll keep that truck for a long time.
  4. happy B-day E-Schmee!
  5. Only got one, and thank GOD I only got this. C1 IN-STATE CONVICTION COURT: FRANKLIN CO MUNI COURT COURT CASE: 6128794 OFF. DATE: 03/19/2006 CONV. DATE: 03/27/2006 POINTS: 02 OFFENSE: MISCELLANEOUS
  6. For around $2K extra or so, I could have any of the BIG 3 diesels pushin well over 20+MPG on the freeway, and I've even seen around town MPG upwards of 18. Tell me what car could get that, tow a house, and seat 4 people comfortably?
  7. Basically diesel's are freakin torque monsters. If you were to ever have to tow something, they'll do it effortlessly. Maintainance is kinda low, but the big thing with most diesels are the tranny's from what I've seen. Unlike gas motors, diesel's use glow plugs. Rarely do they go out, but after a good 150K atleast. The motors really break in after a good 80K on the clock, and can tick way past 200K miles. Another plus is, diesel's usually have a great re-sale value. - You can basically get any of the Big 3 diesel's, and they're all around great trucks. Granted the Cummins motors seem to respond to mods and not to mention get a little better fuel economy.

  9. Example of Diesel: One of our customer trucks, intake turbo back exhaust, and a Bully Dog triple dog normally gets 26MPG on the freeway on 37in tall tires. http://www.pickupspluscars.com/images/PPC%20Gallery/Customers/Phil%20Hawk/cust08_01.jpg
  10. Damn right, watch out for super pope. http://www.truthdig.com/images/eartothegrounduploads/pope_350.jpg
  11. I'd rather be Cummin, than Strokin

  13. My drunk level goes down with the temperature. I tend to hibernate, and when the weather temp increases, so does my alcohol intake
  14. 05+ Silverado, 06+ TrailBlazer, or a 3/4 ton diesel from any of the BIG 3. I've got customers pushing well above 24 MPG with 3/4 ton diesel's towing a load or a trailer. Not to mention can seat more than 4 passangers, can get around no matter the weather conditions, makes GOBS of power, and can run for hundreds of thousands of miles. Dodge or GM would be my pick.
  15. Scion looking front end, I'd say. Never the less, I wouldn't kick it out of the garage.
  16. One case, versus THOUSANDS of THOUSANDS of extremists.
  17. I still beg to differ............. I'm right you're wrong.
  18. Have you all of a sudden turned to Islam too? You one of the mis-guided college kids that think WE being the US is so wrong for invading "Muslim" soil? The Crusades weren't in the bible, it was never written that we (Christians) should go on a holy war. According to Islam, for a JUST reason they can wage holy war. One can defend I said, didn't say Kill, but defending one's self sometimes comes to that point. Granted I may not agree with the Catholic Church, but it is the longest standing Christian denomination, and the Pope holds a bit of power. Yes, the Gaza strip is violent, but you don't see Jews on a daily basis doing what you see in Pakistan, Iran, Iraq etc...... They have a different mind set over there, but what do I know.
  19. Yes, not all Muslims are militant in a way, but when that certain religion holds a special word called "Jihad" inside of it, that doesn't seem peaceful to me. "Jihad" being a holy war, doesn't sound like peace to me. In Christianity, it is right for one to DEFEND themself against death/violence. And funny thing, you don't see Catholics in Rome burning flags, protesting, and violently throwing rocks do you? I don't see Jews in Israel, going nuts and flipping cars?
