  1. I just wanted to take a minute to let everyone know a few things that have been going on. A few weeks ago I injured my back while doing absolutley nothing, Im still not sure what the hell i did but the pain was great enough to make me call off work for the first time in several years. Ive been slow to recover and get back to full strength but I have started feeling much better and am able to go at full speed again.

For those of you whom i currentley have projects going on for I will be finishing anything up in my posession within the coming few days. Im currentley stuck in a transition rut ofeither buying a shop or expanding onto what i have. I have a tendency to be a absolute pain in the ass to get ahold of and im slowly working on getting that fixed. Im trying to schedule further out rather than taking whatever i can get in the door.

I just ask that my customers understand one thing. I will do absolutley whatever i can to make you happy and will guaruntee my work. I have by far some of the lowest prices when it comes to paint work and ive seen alot of other work that is not of the same quality. Thanks to those who have truasted in me to take care of thier paint work and i look forward to meeting new customers.

  2. I went to the mall last night to do some christmas shopping. I was getting in my truck, when I remembered I had forgotten to stop by KB Toys to buy something for a co-worker's daughter. So I'm walking back in to the mall, and when I'm about to get to the door, I see this kid, maybe 11 or 12, sitting on the curb with a $100 bill in his hand and sobbing. I walked over to him and asked if he was alright. This is where it gets really sad.

He told me that he has 2 brothers and a younger sister. They're all between 4 and 8. They live with their mom, who works 2 jobs just to get by. Apparently, she had been saving what little she could to buy Christmas presents for her kids.

Since she had to go to work, she gave him $200 and dropped him off at the mall so he could buy some presents for everyone. Apparently, as soon as he walked into the mall, some one ran and snatched one of the $100 bills from his hand, and now he didnt have enough money to get nice presents for everyone.

I asked him why he didnt put it in his pocket or wallet, and he just started crying even more...said he didnt know. I felt really bad for the little kid, you know?

Then he said that the worst part was that he screamed for help and no one did anything! The funny thing is, when he was telling me this... he was almost whispering and I could hardly hear what he was saying.

I said "Well, how loud did you scream". He said "Like this..." and showed me, but truth be told, I could hardly hear him, so its unlikely that passersby in a loud mall would have heard him. I said.."Well, thats why. You can't scream."

He said "I'm sorry! I cant scream any louder!". I asked "Are you sure you can't scream any louder?" He said "Yeah, thats all." I told him "No wonder... no one can hear you calling for help". So I snatched the other $100 bill from his hand and took off running.

    Happy holidays!

  3. Todd, I have a buddy who has an 03 with 35,000 miles on it. Leo full system and p/c just made 128hp on hords dyno. I rode it on a 900 mile single day trip and it was by far a great handling and very comfortable bike to be on for that amount of time

  4. As a guy whos has had the pleasure of working with both the factory road race team and Attack Kawasaki, I can say that this is not all to blame on DMG. The classes did not meet their expectations. 2009 was a totally different year than years past. The crews didnt have the drive they had in the past, the buell really ticked some people off.

At the end of the day, when you develop a superbike you have millions of dollars invested into the program between parts development, rider salaries, flying your crew to every test., race. The money goes quick. So take all that hard work you just spent developing your bikes. 2009 arives with new owners and new classes where you cant race what youve sank a million dollars into, so your bikes sit on a shelf in a warehouse in Hunington beach. Trust me blows like this take their toll on ANY manufacturer.

New bike sales are way far down, No new models to show this year. KHI (kawasaki heavy industries) could never build another motorcycle and still be the billion dollar company it is. You wouldnt belive all the shit they make from bridges to planes, trains you name it. The japan markets are tanking just as ours is, this has a great effect on things like racing. Why spend Millions in a poor preforming series and economy?

The bottom line is they WILL be back. Trust me on this. In the end DMG has done some beyond stupid things to take alot of incentive away from teams and owners. But the economy Is affecting EVERYONE.
