Question for you racers about a 1-piece
attackpainter replied to mrmako777's topic in Track is Crack
Without custom alterations the same suit can fit 2 people of the same size in different ways. Off the shelf suits will vary , I to have had some that are a little more than snug. -

Every piece i do is sanded down and smoothed. This process doesnt require as much flat sanding compared to dipping due to the fact that I usually (depending on the surface and type of metal or plastic) Use a polyuroxy primer. then apply my base for the actual silver to lay on.

I will be chroming tommarow so i will take my camera in to snap some pics

If anyone wants sample pieces of this I've got plenty of them.

Ok im going to answer a few questions here...... To chrome a set of wheels youre looking at around 100- 150 each wheel. The finish is exactly like a base /clear paint job. It uses specifically designed chemistry and specifically made tops coats. I provide a warranty for at least 10 years, depending on the part. Basically think of this as paint it pretty much is with a real deposit of silver . As far as heat goes it has held up great on a magnesium 14-71 blower i just finished. Turn around time is typically 3-5 days depending on the condition of the parts. Typically prices should be a third of what plating costs.

yeah its pretty funny. if i can get paint to lay on it i can chrome it
-
lol yup ive already done a set of door handles on a new scion tc in pink for a girl
-
copper , gold, anything whatever color of the rainbow you want.

no bad experience but ive seen some body guys that have used them on bumpers with horendous results it eats through like nothing

So i bought a new business a few weeks back and have kept it pretty low key for sometime as i did some trial pieces. I can now chrome anything. When i say anything i mean anything, and not just chrome but color chrome as well. Way cheaper than having something plated and more durable than paint. http://sprayonchrome.com/index2.html check it out i bought the equipment and all the legal crap with it

1 set for rains 2 sets for dot's / slicks Makes it easier instead of having to run your wheels to the tire guy after a race and having to wait while they may be busy..... However street use id say just get a set to mount your trackday tires on -

1 peice suit. thoughts of this one?
attackpainter replied to 4DAIVI PAI2K5's topic in Track is Crack
They crash well and are affordable but, I dont like the armor in the inside and the lining moves around. Having said that this suit seemes to have held up better than my Alpinestars $1400 suit in lowside crashes. RS-Taichi ftw or lizards shift suit is real nice too
