  1. Not half as much shit as when he finds out it's short for Pokes Badgers With Spoons.

It's from an Eddie Izzard comedy bit about original sin.

"Original sin. What a burden. Hasn't everything been done already?"

    "Father...I...uh...I poked a badger with a spoon."

"Well. Well, done my son! That truly IS an original sin."

you must be the only other person besides myself who knows, and enjoys his comedey. he is a funny dude.

    oh and welcome.

  2. if you need something let me know i can get it cheaper than anyone around.

oils, filters, hondabrite, any hondaline product, any oem part on your bike, any cleaner, whatever. and honda line is factory honda accesories.

if you go on servicehonda.com and find what you need and check the price form them (which is the lowest youll find around) i can usually get it a few dollars or more cheaper.

for instance.. oil the HP4 full synthetic oil is about $9 a quart. i pay about $6

also for you r car.. i can get honda motor oil (which is mobile1 semi synthetic) for $25 a case.

just trying to help you guys out.

i usually buy 2 or so cases of 5w -20 for my civic SI and 2 or so filters every 2 months or so.

can also get honda brand... carb cleaner, engine degreaser, chain lube, car wax, car wash soap, thread lock, contact cleaner, vinyl and leather cleaner polish, spray polish, etc.

so if you need anythign, let me know and ill get a price and you can just pick it up from my house. large stuff payment would be needed up front.

this is not a sales pitch, just trying to share the deals.

  3. bologna is gross...

i ride to work whenever i can.

the ride on the way home kinda sucks seeing that its 2 a.m. and there a ton of cars leaving the honda plant the same time i leave.

plus its really no that warm out at that time.. so i layer up.

  4. i thought is was like an unspoken rule that if you had a bike you could park almost anywhere, on the sidewalk, in non parking spots, in front of a resturant?? i went to tuttle, and got booted for parking in the lined area in the front . you know right before the 1st parking spot where they line off a section. security came and said cant park there. thats some BS. i dont want to park my bike in between cars so someone thinks its an open space and rams into it. anyone else have this problem? :? :?

  5. trust me i know about other idiots on the rode i have been riding for about 5 years now.

i do where my lid about 50% of the time i ride maybe a tad more. but for short rides, like i said hats off.

  6. ok maybe not all, but there seems to be a good bit on this site that do.

    sorry for assuming you did.

anyway, this has gotten off track into a helmet debate, and lead into other bullshit.

    on topic.... regardless, rain sucks.

i cant believe how much more protection a sport biek will give you in a the rain compared to a cruiser. like stated before i would ride on any of my sport bikes ive owned, i dont really even remember the bottom of my pant legs getting wet. i was soaked in 5 min on my cruiser.

  7. its all the same.. . except im obeying the law.

your doing something ignorant and disobeying the law, whereas i am not dicking around, and obeying the law.

granted both aspects are bad, i just choose not to wear a helmet while taking short rides, which is my right to do so in this state.

lets not forget about the fact that you all drink and ride. helmet or not thats fucked up.

  8. im just practicing Ohio's no helmet law.

    long rides, ill wear one.

    but not around town here.

a cruiser guy not wearing a helmet is as laughable as a sport bike guy doing over 100mph, or doing free way rolls from 60 - 180, or trying to drag knee around a off ramp.

its all bull shit that you all do.

  9. anyone else get caught in it today. was on the way back from pickerington heading back to hilliard, got just a little outside of downtown on 70.. on the east side, and it started pouring. no windshield and just a pair of shades sucked. ive ridden in the rain before but only on sportbikes.

felt like a million little rocks hitting my face. time to buy a big windshield

  10. love your RC51. if i was to get back into sport bikes, that would be my next bike.

owned a handful of them, VFR interceptor, 900rr, Zx7R, 954RR.

but as of now im loving the comfort and travel capabilities of the cruiser.
