Do it!! I think the car might be tonight, it needs a wash and wax worse than the bike did... I might wait til the weekend though... I'd consider detailing, heck it'd flow right in with the shop...

Up until last night I've always just used plexus to clean mine. It was so bad though that I got the hose out last night. Then waxed it because I can. Thank you.

None. Granted I was following Jon... Actually I pushed pretty hard in some of the corners and they're like glue man...it's ridiculous what that "sport touring" tire can do. Something called the Devils triangle the roads were wet and coming into one corner a bit to hard the back started to come around a bit, but that was mostly stupidity...down shifting and not rev-matching. I didn't push quite as hard in the rain over the weekend, but on roads I know I don't slow down much for the rain even...

You'd be surprised. I suspect if they were used for hard riding all the time the life would be 8K or so... When I lived in AZ after my truck was stolen that was my sole transportation to work, school, and Church so that helped extend the life some. However I've done a ton of canyon carving out there, plus some pretty good rides here and can't say enough good about them.

How do you figure?? I've never heard of a set of PP's that will get 12K miles and still be sticky the whole life of the tire! Told ya you'd like 'em Jon.
