Yup he fixed it, i was riding with him yesterday and it's perfect, i'm not mechanically inclined at all, so correct me if i'm wrong, but i think it was something about a loose clutch or something, he got it tightened and all was good

yeah thanks man, but i decide against it...it's not that bad at lights, i just lean to the left and press the brake with the right lol, it's actually pretty comfortable now

So i just figured i would share this with everyone and see if it has happened to anybody else...so i was riding the other day and i was just cruisin' at around 50mph (no helmet, just my goggles) and these two birds just flew right in front of me, which is nothing out of the ordinary...but then about 7 seconds later another sparrow flew outta nowhere and hit my right shoulder ...bounced off my chest and hit me in my chin all while flapping it's wings frantically, so naturally my first reaction is to try to swat it away, (i used my left hand of course) but when i knocked the bird down i swerved and barely gained control (and oncomming traffic was definitely on it's way)...i know this doesn't compare so some of the stories i'v heard, but it was THE SCARIEST thing to happen to me in my LIFE thus far...has anyone else been attacked by wild kamikaze sparrows?

Yeah that's what my friend told me...he also told me to try to stay in a higher gear to keep the temp down, i.e. 4rd or 5th gear...what do you think about that?

I'm about 185lbs...yeah i agree that the handling is more important than being comfortable in resting position...is it possible to lower the suspension or somthing without compromsing the handling?

How hot temperature-wise do sportbikes usually get just riding on the street and what is too hot? i have an '05 636 and it's my first super-sportbike so i'm not really familiar with the normal operating temps, and it seems like it's running fairly hot (i can literally feel the heat comming from the engine lol)...i was right around 198-223 degrees, is this normal?
