Ive been hit in the throat by a rock at 70mph (damn near passed out) but ive only hit birds in my car.. Two mornings in a row on the dame road and same road kill one turkey vulture each day jumped up from its breakfast and decided that i was challenging it for its food and they both jumped up and flew directly at me both hitting the windshield and the A-pillar (still scratches on the a pillar cover) right in front of my face .. the second could have been on a revenge flight for its mate but they both loosing to my car... couldnt imagine what that would be like on a bike...

That ass wouldnt even fit on a cruiser but if i got a tractor seat and the back i could do some awesome wheelies...

Very funny ..Ha,,, Ha... well you asked and i told you ... you could have just asked me what the guy driving the car did wrong... first i would try to drive that oversteering car like an oversteering car... you should be sliding the rearend of the car through the middle of the corner (half on each side of the apex)the other half (each quarter on the front and the back of the corner trying to use as much of the track as possible to help your entry and exit and getting the most speed out of the straightaways... the car is tail happy like a porche and you have to use that to your advantage... The guy riding the 999 is obviously a better rider than i am and mostlikely a better rider than you if he can two wheel slide one of the most powerfull bikes on the market.. all i was saying is that the guy could have gotten a half a second of time if he would have gotten all the cars potential to the track...(in my oppinion) yours is obviously different... they are both wonderfull vehicles and in the right hands would be and are nearly equal.

Thats cool but have you seen the new O rganic L ight E mitting D iodes or OLED... these things can be put on a sheet of plastic as thin as paper and you can roll it up and put it in a tube or on your backpack.. They will eventually be wireless and you can lay them anywhere, table, wall or fridge... you will never have to look up again...

I have seen nearly every episode of that show and the reason im not on a circuit is because about the time i could have gotten a chance to get a ride I was in college at northwestern in lima (now called The University of Northwestern Ohio)for a year and a half to be an automotive/high performance and alternative fuels mechanic to get my foot in the door... when i screwed up a missed a class my tuition ran out and couldnt afford the 800 dollars every six weeks and dropped out... started working at a fabrication shop in groveport ohio and after being there three years i was about to head south to apply for a nascar job or get a ride in a car here, I screwed up again and got my girlfriend pregnant and my chance at driving went to hell in a hand basket from there as i had to get a real job... not every good driver can have his own show or actually get to race... but maybe one day I will get another chance ... :wink:

I tried the air horn thing but people dont know what to do and just slam on their brakes...

I could have driven that cat better than that guy did and i dont have a tv show....

My educated guess is between 400hp and 600hp unless those are just spacer plates so the fuel feels like its going faster...

Anyone out there have a set of progressive rear shocks for a honda cruiser (vt1100 or vtx1300).. One of mine is busted and I dont want to throw threehundo on new shocks...

What up.. Could be you have a pin hole leak on a hose or a clamp not tight enough. Take the skin off and check all fittings. Could be something minor, but if you miss something, that could be lights out w fluid on the rear tire so make sure...

But seriously, find someone w the same bike and take some measurements and if need be, get someone to let you jig off of a good bike and we can straighten her out... p.s. please keep your pants zipped...

my ... sorry ....My thoughts would be that once you got to a certain point the car would win ... Straight line drag race it would depend on hp to weight ratios and traction but in the corner, due to the car having much more tire and much more downforce, and you can only lean a bike so far before you run out of tire or traction that the car could take corners faster. Also, who goes faster, top fuel dragsters or bikes??? answer top fuel dragster is 4.5 sec. at 330mph and bike is 6.8 at 198 ... no contest due to more hp and downforce on the dragster... cars have more potential for speed due to being bigger...

I cant make it to the sat. date, but if you could ask him a question for me... when i sit on my 93 vt1100 the front end barely moves due to me being 155lbs.. can i adjust those settings on this bike or due i just need more preload on the rears to get it to turn in easier, (Its set on 2 on the rear) or is this just a product of being a cruiser w high fork rake?

hey andy im victor the furniture guy that was at your house this morning... you shouldnt need much help to sell the bike ..its a great bike ... is it fuel injected or carbs ..
