you can use gas tank sealer which can be had at www.EastwoodCo.com, or you can fill the tank w exhaust fumes and weld it if you feel really brave or i can get you into contact w someone that can weld it...

dont touch the throttle in the rain is my take on that ... way too much torque and not enough
hp on electric engines for one wheel, or am i just an idiot cruiser guy???

back in the day (1996) when i moved to lima for a couple of years to go to school
there was a future classmate that hit a pregnant deer broadside going
OVER 120 MPH and LIVED.....
he hit the deer soo hard that he just sat up on the bike and sat back down and rode to a
stop.... the increased momentum of the bike sliced through the deer like a butter knife
and his momentum didnt throw him off of the bike...
hard to believe i know but i saw the pictures... i dont recall how much gear he was wearing
but i didnt matter. i saw the pictures of the bike and the front was torn down to the frame and covered in blood.. my take is if you have no other choice but to hit the deer...THROTTLE
THROTTLE AND MORE THROTTLE and it may help push through the deer

ha ha on the fence idea they cant even build one on the border...
do you know how big the pot holes would be if they spent money on the fencing

cool article
thats how we used to break in rear end gears for our roundy round cars at the shop
i used to work at and when the customer didnt do that the gear would overheat and
boil the fluid ... excess friction due to rough contact area... nothing to seal between the
gears but its the same concept and as long as we broke them in that way we never replaced a gear... can i use that or will someone get mad

bikes to nv
hmmmmmmm....
more like bikes that kill
i bought my father in laws old vt1100 when he bought his new
vtx1300 .. i went over the 1100 w a fine tooth comb after i got it home to
howard from lancaster where he lives and was very surprised to find
bolts on the handle bar riser clamps tightened wrong and the headlight
mount torqued due to not in recess on one side and the front brake line holder
at the bottom of the triple tree turned the wrong way so everytime you turned hard
rt it would scratch the frame cover in front of the tank ...
my father in law took this bike to btnv for all work until
i told him about this and now he takes his new bike to the dealer ..
i know its expensive but i dont have the time to work on his bike too and
he has never even changed the oil on his bikes sad to say...
one day there gonna forget to tighten an axle bolt and splat
try a checklist if your that busy guys...

i agree w the overfilled idea .over filled my vt 1100 by 3/4 of a quart due to not remembering
fill on level ground on a centerstand or atv jack ... ran like shit at idle and even worse off idle..
it was coughing oil into the breather tank and into the carbs... mobil one burns like crap .. cant imagine what two quarts would do on a inline four or the like.... also just a thought ...
the problem could be a leaking clutch master cylinder ... it could slowly bleed away pressure until it killed the engine and then be hard to change gears until you released and pulled the clutch again . might be something to check...

can you check the price of honda "dual pump" fluid.. my crv's rear gear should have started whining about 60,000 miles ago. thanks
-
piaa makes a 115db horn that is about twice a loud as a car horn but its big so buy two and
mount one on both sides of the bike to keep it balanced... hehe... goto bikebandit.com and search electrical then horns. although if you make it too loud people might be looking for a semi
when you honk and look right past you and splat

The roads are why i moved here.. I get bored driving straight and flat for too long... I lived in
lima for almost two years and surprisingly i never got a ticket but i would if i had owned a bike back then. Someone in lima asked me why i drive so fast and i told him that why should i, there are no curves.... I have wanted to road race for years but cant afford to start or have the time to.
