  2. WoW mabye I will go to taco bell...... I want no part of either bickering crowd, and this is Just My opinion but I think bike nights are stupid, I would rather just meet up with some of you guys at a park or something and go ride.
  3. I work so much its hard to even get out to ride with you guys... but i really want to as i have no one that i really ride with.
  4. I have yet to attend a bike night.... now Im confused... what to do...... which side to join in this epic battle for meeting grounds supremacy...
  5. All fixed and back on the road and no leaks ....... sweet.....
  6. I wouldnt say they "hijacked" it but just celebrated it in there own way... I dont agree with moments of silence for the fact that nothing about war and death is silent.... I want to be remembered with gunshots and drinking and sure some roaring exhaust from a bike ( I do agree not a HD tho) maybe a nice two brothers sound playing taps... lol
  7. I was wounded in Iraq in 2006 and still have not yet received treatment or the compensation I deserve, apparently my eardrum getting blown out and the shrapnel they pulled from my neck cannot be related to the IED blast that went off next to me..... So if they were making a statment for better health car for Veterns I'm all for it..... it does need changed. I guess it just depends on how you look at it.... Im ok with it.... its just a matter of opinion i guess, which is whats great about this country is we are able to do things like that.
  8. all in all its just a different type of parade..... it may be loud yes but its still just a parade.... regardless of how much traffic it blocks, alot of people complain when it doesnt fall into the catagory of what they think is the "correct way" to remember the fallen ( and Im not pointing fingers at you Fusion) FYI I salute all who have served and respect whatever way people like to celebrate remembrance. That is one of the freedoms we enjoy because of those who have served and died for this country.

reliable and good milage... hes a big guy so not real small,
  10. posted before your retraction, that was a little bit much, I just dont see what is so bad about people riding together for something they believe in (if thats what they went for) most people on here love to go and tear the roads up regardless of the noise it creates.

My boss is looking for a good used bike.... If anyone has anygood ideas or knows of any let me know
  12. I dont believe they were saluting the person.... but maybe their service.... regardless if there a "douchebag" or not they have made a sacrafice that most people will never have to endure.
  13. I am a combat veteran and wanted to go… not so much is the riding through the capital a patriotic event but it is the sacrifice to ride all the way there….. just the display and support for our troops, alive, missing, and dead is a great respect in my opinion. As long as they are there for the right reasons it is a great show of respect for those who have served. It’s the ones that sit at home and forget why they have the freedoms that they do that are the ones that are really un-patriotic.

  17. For a cruiser I like it.
  18. Hey Nick I didnt mean that no one should wear gear, that just sometimes its not even gonna help. I always wear at least my jacket, helmet, gloves, and boots, thats at a least.
  19. +1 no amount of leather is gonna help when going 60 - 0 in less than a sec
  20. "It's more respectful to be honest about what is happening there than to lie about it and spin it into something it isn't." I have not lied about anything, only stated my feelings and shared from my experiences. And I'm truly sorry I did not no that you were a Veteran also Fusion, thank you for your service.
  21. Maybe that came out wrong, it was not meant to start some kind of childish fight, its just hard to stomach someone telling me I spent a year of my life away from my family and was about killed countless times, for nothing. If I offended you in any way I'm sorry and did not mean to as you are entitled to your opinion. Just put your self in my shoes, all I ask for is a little respect towards those who have served. And please lets not start name calling, I was not calling you a hippie directly.
  22. So we are all a bunch of hippies that must not agree with any war this great country has been in, even if it was for the sake of human rights and human preservation, which is defending freedom!! regardless of who's soil it is on. Sometimes you have to fight, if we lived by your views we wouldn't have this country in the first place. So if me and countless others wasted our time over there (some up to 4 yrs) lemme see you tell that to there face. In fact why don't you do it this weekend in our nations capital. And don't bring up the free speech BS cause thats not what this is about its about a very small level of respect that we should show this nations Veterans. It just pisses me off knowing some would rather cower than fight, and liberating that country was a good thing, I've seen it with my own two eyes.
  23. The President gets to make the decision on what threats to take action against that is why he holds the title of commander and chief. We (and I say we as Americans) voted him into that position, and I do believe that congress has to approve any declaration of war or military engagement (I could be wrong on that, I'm not much for politics). Saying that I stand behind what I said before, I did not join blindly, I joined after 9-11 full well knowing what lay ahead for me, and if you ever had to spend one min in the shoes of those poor people under Saddam's rule you would agree it was worth it to do what we did regardless of the pretense's. More Humans were killed monthly by him then have died from the US since the beginning of the war. And as far as your statement on the Soldiers creed having an elitist view on the world, I believe it states "I am guardian of freedom and the American way of life" which is what you enjoy everyday, and if its too elitist for you then leave the exit door is always open. I have been to Iraq.... have you..... we have not forced any "way of life" on them only given them the choice to enjoy some of the freedoms that we do. I can not think of any human that does not enjoy freedom.
  24. I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God. That is the Oath you take..... I have had the pleasure of reciting that myself. Soldiers creed I am an American Soldier. I am a Warrior and member of a team. I serve the people of the United States and live the Army Values. I will always place the mission first. I will never accept defeat. I will never quit. I will never leave a fallen comrade. I am disciplined,. physically and mentally tough, trained and proficient in my warrior tasks and drills. I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself. I am an expert and I am a professional. I stand ready to deploy, engage, and destroy the enemies of the United States of America in close combat. I am guardian of freedom and the American way of life. I am an American Soldier. I bolded the part that is relevant in this conversation. I think Sadam was an enemy to all who met him, namely the USA, nearly all the population is grateful for what we have done for that country. I lived with the general population in Iraq for a year, what we have done is a justice for the rights of the citizens of that country. There has always been war, and along with war comes death, I don’t think any other war has had such low casualties. I would go back and do it all over again without question.
