  1. I have the original fairing from my 2001 Honda CBR F4i for sale. Until I can get a pic up, its the red/white one. Most pieces have crack(s) but not too bad. I was planning to use them as extras if I ever did a track day but never have. The only pieces not included are the bits between the tank and front fairing. Make me an offer.

  2. Just kidding, it was actually 236 temp. I've tested the battery and its at 12.5 with bike off and 14.5 with it running. Stays at 14.5 at 5000 revs. Read somewhere if number is higher when running, that means the alternator is good. Ugh! The stator is going to be the hard part. Replaced it on Bret's ZX-10 and I had to put it on because none of the man hands could fit into the tiny space.

  3. So a couple weeks ago I was in traffic 270 and 23, barely moving. I stalled the bike when just letting off the clutch a little too much (not moving enough for throttle) then it wouldn't start. Fan had been running prior as is was 88 degrees out. When I tried to start the bike again, the dash lit up, temp said 136 but it wouldn't start. Bike started right up after being plugged into battery tender over night. So did the bike just shut down because of the temp? Battery is bad (it's about 5 years old)? Stator bad? Anyone have the equipment to test the battery/stator? I haven't ridden since then because I'm afraid to get stranded again.

  4. Sid Lark was the father of my nieces, a Toledo police officer and a fellow rider. He was killed last September.

We are having a memorial ride and dinner on July 25th. Our family would like to invite as many riders as possible to come celebrate his life and passion for riding. Please see the information below if you are interested in joining us.

  5. So our F-150 was t-boned last year (totalled) and Bret ended up with a Mazda 3 Speed as a replacement for something fun, speedy and better gas milage. But we are missing out on so many trips with the bikes (Daytona, Dragon, etc) that we are now in the market for another vehicle to tow with. We have accepted that replacing our truck will be tough (we '99 with less than 100K miles, manual, extended cab). F-150 still at top of the list, maybe a Tundra but we were also looking at some mid-size suv's (towing, slightly better gas milage, interior cargo space) like Cherokee or Honda Pilot. We have a 5x8 open trailer, ZX10 and F4i. Opinions/experience towing with a V6?

  6. Thanks guys! I'll see what Mad Cat comes up with and if it doesn't work I'll take you up on your offer Papa.

I've only gone 6000 miles in the last 3 years so I thought a used tire would be fine. New rear tire when I bought it so hoped to just buy both new when I need to replace the rear too.

  8. Very sorry for your loss. I deal mostly with cats and dogs but I have some information regarding pet loss. You can PM me if you are interested. Everyone is different. Give yourself time to heal and you will know when it is right for another pet. Remember, you are not replacing, just opening your home to another.

  9. Yep, rode to the gym this morning. Roads were wet. Pretty windy and chilly on the way there. Had warmed up a bit when I left. Can't ride to work tonight since it will likely be raining when I get off so it was nice to get out for a bit.

Talk about needing a clean though!

  10. Yes, I am looking for multiple strong men to help us out. We are moving and the big stuff is going tomorrow (thursday) evening. Looking for some guys to help move an upright piano and a hot tub. Piano is on first floor and hot tub is in garage. They are being moved to a storage unit for now via our truck and trailer.

I am planning around 6-7pm. Please let me know if you and your friends would like to help! Best way to contact me is F4iBunny@gmail.com

    Thanks!
