sure vista runs fine on a computer with 2 48xx graphics cards. fwiw, vista is pretty if you have a system that can handle it, and ive had few (if any) problems with my dell laptop that were vista related. the problem is that is uses memory like a hog, and its generally just a rushed piece of code. most people who dont deal with thousands of computers on a daily basis or dont give two shits about whats happening behind the curtain, this works out fine. it looks good and works. for older systems, or even newer ones that are cheaper and dont have 4 GB of ram to throw at an OS, XP works fine and dandy. has nobody heard the news about the class action lawsuit about the "vista capable" debacle? and windows 7 is not just a repackaged vista. it is what vista should have been. if everything microsoft is putting out about it right now is true, it will definitely be something i buy when it gets released. i would suggest going to www.gizmodo.com and searching "windows 7" for some decent articles on why people are excited about W7 (and these are people that dont care much for microsoft or windows vista)

you need to figure out what process is using 100% of the proc. unless youre doing some heavy duty gaming or other 3d processing you shouldnt be seeing those numbers. you might want to download speedfan and check what kind of temps youre getting. hard drives are so cheap nowadays its worth it to have a huge backup drive just to reinstall windows once in a while. if you just wipe it clean youll notice a huge performance difference im guessing. i would recommend trying to swallow the fact that you need to reinstall everything and just back up your pictures and docs and crap and bite the bullet.

i try not to get tied down by color. that can always change (or you can convince yourself it was worth it). plus since the bike market is so much smaller than the car market, right price and mileage talks, you add in color to the requirements and youll be on a ghost hunt until someone suckers you in. oh, and integrity cycles sucks. they wanted way too much for the 250s they had and wouldnt let me test any of them out without a check in their hand... although i have been known to take out 250s for some wild joyrides on weekends.

so my bike got tipped for the second time last night. bent one of my clip ons, ripped off the mirror, dented the tank, scratched most of my left side plastics, etc. last time it got tipped i didnt feel anything was damaged enough for me to report it, but this time im not sure. would it be worth getting all that shit redone or are my rates going to make it not worth it?

well i dont have a job yet and zorro had the day off. lucky for us the weather was beautiful and the roads were empty. we found a bunch of freshly paved sections of everyones favorite roads (555, 676, 78, 278, 56) and were loving every minute of it. a note of warning, if anyone is heading down to hocking by way of 23-56, right as 56 gets really twisty and goes into the woods, theres a couple of rather large sections of gravel. other than that the road was ok. work still found zorro, even on his day off. this made the day better... we got lost trying to find a way home from marietta, mission accomplished.
