looking for an engine for a 2000 ZX6. my buddies finaly took a shit last weekend. after 27,000 enjoyed miles! i know its probaly more cost-effective at this point to buy a new bike, but he loves that old bike...

and yes i am talking about a 1030 kit. not sure of the tech term, but u got it. i was talking to one of my old motocross sponsors about doing it and it shouldnt be that expensive. i just have to tear it completly down, and he will do all the machine work. i know you dont have to take the engine apart to look inside the tranny, but your halfway there so why not!?

yes. not wearing a helmet will def help me go faster... jackass, i excercise my right to not wear one when im riding around town or going to qs&l, not at the track, going on a ride, or a top speed run...

they covered the rear set under warranty.. i asked about the shift fork.. they said kaw wouldnt cover that.. im just going to keep riding it with the new stock rear set for now, and tear it apart this winter. i was also thinking since it'll already be apart, might as well go +.30 and blue print it.. hopefully it'll be ready for a 200mph top speed run next year

so, last night, with the tues night crew, we decided to roll over to fitzgeralds and check out there bike night after the usuall bw3 wings. on 270 passing 23 my bike gets stuck in between 4-5 gears. after a couple more tries, i got pissed and stomped on it to try and get it back into a gear. apparently i stomped to hard and the entire rear set broke off, hanging from the shift lever off the case dragging the ground. so, once again, the limited will be ridden a limited number of times, lol, and put back in the shop till the new one comes in. does motorcycle transmissions have syncronisers like cars do? if not, there is something not right in the tranny!

i went to bed at 630am this morning, from last night. got up at 830am this morning and did the ride.. we found a couple of amazing backroads!!!

meeting time is still 10am at QS&L and departure at 1030 promptly. we can talk about the routes before we leave, and any questions...cant make everyone happy, but will try. and yes, def back by 3 at the latest for the game. if you cant make it tm, cleaner is doing a ride sun. check the thread

first of all. i grew up 5 miles outside of mohican in butler. i am well aware of the roads. second, i mentioned the attractions to actually stop at them and check out the scenary since it is getting close to fall. i just wanted to give the general area of where we will be. i do this ride every couple of weekends and it never gets old. the cops are so far and few between out there, compared to anywhere else it is amazing. if you see one sherriff, backup is 30 min away. gravel is usually non existent compared to other roads. with a high of 67 tommorow for cbus, the temp out there will be around 8 degrees cooler than columbus; making it perfect for full gear and horsepower.

as anyone heard of, or been to the star boys Star Bar? i watched a recent star boys video and they were talking about a new bar they built this year in Akron. just wondering because i would love to ride up there one day and check it out.

anyone that wants to ride to mohican with us sat morning... as of now there are almost 10 interested, at least. my plan is to meet at QS&L at 10am sat morning, and roll out by 10:30 so we can be back to watch the osu game. we will go up rt 3 to mohican and stop at a few of the parks sites like the gorge, fire tower, and ride through the twisties down to the covered bridge. there are a few other roads i would like to hit, like 97, 603, and 95. depending on everybodies mood, lunch somewhere along the line. this should be a good, super scenic, twisty and enjoyable ride, ill make maps to put on your tanks if anyone gets lost or needs to leave early. see you guys sat morn!

it is mohican state forrest outside of loundenville off of st rt3. what time do you guys want to roll out? i would like to be back by 3 to watch the game. or we can all roll somewhere together to watch? i was thinking like a meeting time of 10am at qs&l and rollout at 1030 or 11am. ?? how many interested?

i think putty and i need to do this race to zanesville and back, simply for bragging rights. ive never been on that route before, but i can ride it a few times during the day to check it out. in the event that the limited loses, it will go straight to the shop and not come out untill its ready to win! haha

haha.. well even with a girl on the back my speedo has still read 148 on that lil back road out toward delaware...but lets do a ride on sat as well! i havnt been able to ride in 3 consectutive weekends!! ill host a ride sat morn and cleaner can host the sunday ride. mohican should be perfect right now to ride out there and actually stop at all of the attractions.. anybody down???

there is an import race around 270 twice a month.. cops know about it, but what can they do?.. theres too many cars to stop; at best they can only get one once they split up. thats the fun part.

chances are, ill crash hard enough to not worry about jail time.. unless of course i wasnt going fast enough when i hit the pavement and live through it..that'll be a min 2 fo sho. and a change of scenary after being a military police officer. oh and NINJA NICK, i heard you took up quilting since you've been spending soo much time on the porch. hows that coming along? haha

i still have my 98 cr250 works bike.. its old but it whooped all of those heavy ass 4 stroke 450's at the last race i was at this year and i have my cr125 that has 185 pounds of compression and jus sits and collects dust.. there are trails in the woods, jus really shitty ones and not that many. ok gots to go
