Same condition; meaning no major adjustments or scratches, knicks, dings, etc. Suspension adjustments should be ok, and normal wear and tear, I just don't even want to worry about explaining anything...
-
You guys are killing me! haha My bike is in litagation for lemon law; that is why the Kaw engineer and lawyer are inspecting it... It has to remain the same condition as when I orriganaly filed the case last Sept.
-
Thanks. I didn't realize they were that cheap. I'm trying to avoid the hammer and screwdriver untill after the Kawasaki Engineer and my lawyer due a follow up at the end of the month...

Does anyone have a spanner tool that can help me set my sag on my ZX10???!!!

Are you camping or staying in the hotel part of it?
-
There are 4 of us heading to the Resort on July 12th to camp all weekend and ride. If anyone else is interested, let me know and maybe we can just get a few more campsites beside each other... I know there will be a lot of cops.. That's why I'm taking extra cash to pay the ticket that I will get! haha See everyone at SuperBike weekend in Mid-Ohio!

As many of you all know I have not been happy at all with Motorsport of Columbus' service. Recently, I actually had a good experience there, and I would like to let everyone know that I am not completely biased. The last problem that I had: They put a new Gold chain, and sprocket on my bike that I purchased from them. Apparently they cut the chain one link too short, making my tire sit in the swing arm a little bit crooked to fit, all the way against the swing arm. The chain stretched, and it wore out my tire a little quicker than normal.. I took it back there to show them, and the SM Drew went ahead and ordered a new chain to put on it. It is not here yet, but they are making progress in customer service. Just thought I would throw out a positive vibe for once. Take it as you will, and I really don't want to hear the feedback, as it always comes back from posting on this site... BTW kudos for the free Dyno last Saturday at Motorsports. The ole' Kaw pulled 162.9 BHP in Saturday's heat for the over-all guessing game contest. My guess was 163 BHP.

PM sent about the tires. Give me a call or email at the personal address and I'll stop by and pick them up when you are available

The reason I am unhappy with Motorsports has nothing to do with my rearset breaking! Every time I took my bike in for service, or something being broken on it, they were terrible in customer service and did not document a single service order. It was taken there 9 times between the last week of June '07, and the first week of Sept '07. While it was there awaiting the new rear set that was on back order, someone at the dealership put 450 miles on my bike in the 7 months that they had it and removed the license plate and burned my tire off leaving 2 inches of rubber on the under carriage. So if you still think you know every fucking thing about me and how awesome Motorsports is, feel free to enlighten me. My brother took his bike there for a simple warranty request and they told him it would not be covered and basicly to fuck off. I took my brothers bike down to Grove City and it was fixed in 2 days. My opinion on Motorsports is terrible, however, if you like them, then continue to shop there. It's not like I'm going to stand out in front of the store and protest. "And Ousley MOC had nothing do with your bike falling apart on you, thats kawi's problem, same with all of the fucked up 07 600s they put out last year. Also it prob. wouldnt have been so bad if you hadn't been jumping up and down trying to slam your bike into gear on 270. I had friends that were riding with you."

Anyone going to lodge night? its too nice outside not to!

As many of you may know from my experiences with them. Pay the extra few bucks at a legit dealership.

Bro is 6'8" and had more money than brains. Like I said, at least 2 of you have seen him ride that day we went to Mohican... Either way it doesn't matter if it was babied or not for $8500. haha
-
Ok, added a couple pics, and thanks... Like I said, he is a beginner, and this was his first bike. I think a couple of you guys have actually met him, and maybe been on a ride with us..
-
Ok I have pictures, but no idea how to attach them???

Hey guys.. This is not my bike for sale, It's my brothers. He totaled my car 2 weeks ago and he needs to sell his bike to pay for my car. It's the same exact bike that I have, except it is completely stock with only about 1,000 miles. He is a beginner rider, and never had the bike even close to redline. I don't even think the bike has been above 120 mph. It was serviced at 500 miles, and 1000 miles right before it was put away for the winter. First $8,500 takes it. No less, and No trades, so don't even ask. We have the title, so there is no lien. I'll get pics up soon, until then just look at the pics of my bike. Call 614 313 3156 Travis

all i know is that ive had trouble with my transmission since week 1 off the showroom. the service manager is putting together all of the work orders for me to send in. even if i get screwed and all they do is replace the transmission, im still better off than i am now with a broken ass bike and almost a summer of lost riding.
-
i called kawaski myself before i called the lawyer. the basicly said they didnt give a fuck. i used to work for ricart automotive and i know how dealer communication works with manufacturer.. read the lemon law link i posted. IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE A MAJOR COMPONENT, NOR DOES IT HAVE TO BE THE SAME PART. It is a very gray area as to define "lemon". any vehicle purchased new that can be titled and registered for street use as a means of transpertation.
-
i never once said anything about the engine or "cam"... what are you talking about. its a transmission issue. im not going to argue about what im going to get, or whos at fault. im strictly reporting what my lawyer says. the lawyer fees are included in the settlement seperatly.
-
actually lemon law is an arbitration process against the manufacturer, not the store. it doesn't have anything at all to do with the store. my cousin just recieved a brand new ford f450 dually after arbitrtation with ford. kawaski will either send me an offer to sweep it under the rug, or take it to arbitration and risk the media getting involved. ohio lemon laws are very clear and easy to interpret. www.ohiolemonlaws.com. only thing is the outcomes aren't guarenteed. ohio law states they have to make it "right" with the consumer; which is a gray area and where the arbitrator comes into play. motorsports is actually helping me put a case together by giving me all of my service orders because its more beneficial to them to keep me as a customer. kawasaki cant punish them for selling a lemon.
-
i bought it from motorsports..ive missed more than 2 monthes of riding.. just got the paperwork in the mail from lawyer today
-
motorsports has the bike.. i guess they finaly got the new rear set in, but dont want to touch the tranny soo...called the lawyer back, he has times and dates for all 9 times its been in the different shops.. he said not to worry about repair orders for the previous times before current bc he would supenea (cant spell) them if needed..
-
the tranny was stuck in nuetral while riding on 270.. i got pissed off and kicked down on the shifter, which broke the rear set in half causing the foot peg and shifter to hit the ground again.. (the shifter fell off the first week i bought it and ive had tranny issues since then) i havnt seen my bike since sept 7th! lawyer is kahn & assc out of cleveland.

Met with the lawyer friday night and he guaranteed me a lemon law case on the '07 special... Worst case scenerio, I get a cash settlement and they buy back the bike. Other options will be a cash settlement, and they trade my '07 for an '08, or cash and I get my bike fixed and paid off!!!! Its been in the shop for over 30 days now! I'm thinking cash and '08...

and thanks for the insight vector... im calling kawasaki tomorrow to have a rep come out and look at it before i do any major warranty voiding repairs..
