  1. im pretty sure i read somewhere that the gun is a .460 weatherby, which is basically a damn elephant gun. I cant imagine what that guy's shoulder is gonna feel like.
  2. 1977 KZ650 2003 Ninja 500R 2004 ZX-6R Ninja (636) current bike
  3. yeah im not sure if ne serious mods r in line since it is a company car. But after 80,000 miles he gets a brand new one. I was thinking maybe a new pullie, since its cheap but is it an effective upgrade?
  4. My dad just ordered one for his company car, apperently it has the 05 GTP supercharged engine in it. What do you guys know about them such as performance/reliability? Just curious cuz ill prob be driving it a bit when it comes in. Thanks for the replys.
  5. I dunno if its every fri, but it was $20 for two runs.
  6. yeah they seemed a bit high, i have a yoshi trs slip on and a power commander. Thing is an 04 gsxr 600 with the same mods except a micron pipe only ran 105 hp, and an R6 put up similiar numbers. So i dunno...
  7. not too shabby, i dynoed mine at iron pony fri night, i got 122 hp, and 62 lbs of torque.
  8. I know the RC51 is a V twin, a lot of midrange and very torquey. Ive never ridden one, but have only heard good things about them.

  11. yeah i need to work on it a lil, but im also 6ft 5 and it gets a lil cramped lol. But im sure ill improve on my next track day.
  12. Heres some pics from the track day, i guess some pro photographers were around some of the turns. http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/prsm.dll?eventorder?photo=0AOU000N000118&start=0&album=0&adjust=-1 http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/prsm.dll?eventorder?photo=0AOU000N030019&start=0&album=0&adjust=-1 http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/prsm.dll?eventorder?photo=0AOU000N030076&start=0&album=0&adjust=-1 http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/prsm.dll?eventorder?photo=0AOU000N030117&start=0&album=0&adjust=-1 http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/prsm.dll?eventorder?photo=0AOU000N030180&start=0&album=0&adjust=-1 http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/prsm.dll?eventorder?photo=0AOU000N030219&start=0&album=0&adjust=-1 http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/prsm.dll?eventorder?photo=0AOU000N030155&start=0&album=0&adjust=-1
  13. yeah we got 20 minutes of classroom time and 20 minutes of track time every hour for about 7 hours. Yeah i had never dragged my knees on the street, just lack of good twisty roads, but had no problem on the track. Dragging the toes, after that one day for some reason my right toe was dragging when id drag my right knee, but my left wouldint hit that much. So now my right boot's toe slider is worn down to nothing and it started wearing into the boot, so theres basically a hole there lol. But yeah ill deff be back, and in the intermediate group, by the end of the day me and 2 other riders were lapping everyone like 4 times almost every session, so we caught on pretty quick.
  14. yeah, it was so much fun that it made street riding really boring now..., unless deals gap is in my back yard ill never really get the rush i did at the track. Deff take the novice course though if its ur first, i ride on the street A LOT and i still wouldint want to be thrown in right away with the intermediate track riders without at least a few sessions around the track. But really all you need is one day of novice instruction and u should be ready for intermediate as long as your an avid twisty rider. Oh and about the passenger pic, they have a special 15 minute two up session right after lunch, you cant ride with a passenger in the normal sessions.
  15. Well guys, yesterday was my first track day at mid ohio with the people from sportbiketracktime. Deff the most fun ive ever had on a motorcycle. I highly recommend any one with a sport bike to try it out. Nothing on the street compares to the adrenalin rush u get dragging ur knee at triple digit speeds lol. If you guys are interested go to www.sportbiketracktime.com, ill deff be back in the fall, now all i need to do is buy some of my own leathers and save up for a track bike....
  16. the parts are new on here, deff not cheap but are a lot cheaper then getting new parts from the dealer. They sell fairings for just about every sport bike. www.ronayersmotorsports.com
  17. just signed up for it, any one else on here planning on going?
  18. yeah its deff not fast compared to the new 600's, it can turn out mid to high 12's in the 1/4 in magazine tests, and i think its top speed is somewhere around 130, i had the needle buried when i had mine but motorcycle speedometers arent exactly 100% accurate. It will still smoke pretty much every car from a dig, from a roll it pretty much has nothing...
  19. NICE! great first bike, i had an 03 for a year before i got my 636
  20. DAMN that sucks, looks like he got out of it fine though. I just learned how to ride 2nd gear bp wheelies last week, i think ill just stick to those in fear of destroying my bike that i owe more on than what its worth lol
  21. yeah that grill looks like it should belong on a grand prix or something...
  22. on my bike i know its a part of the kawasaki KLEEN system. I just removed it and routed a hose from my crankcase breather to that. I know that you can take it off and block off those holes and it will cause a decrease in popping and backfiring. Its an emmisions control part, id just remove it if i were you.
