  1. I'm not entirely sure what you posted could possibly have to do with the DeWalt stuff, but okay.

On a side note, I probably wouldn't buy anything 18V NiCad. They're supposedly be discontinued right after Christmas. They'll be stupid cheap then. DeWalt is supposedly going with Li batteries from now on.

Somebody should go check tem out. Says located in columbus. I love me 3/8 and 1/4 inch impacts. And batteries last a long time considering how much tork I'm putting on each time

  2. They (Dominion) said we pretty much. Had to go higher up the ladder and fight we want a line. Our neighbor is pulling off the same type of well right off our property line, so we. Should be allowed to do it just like them. There's just no reason for us to have to put in a big old propane tank (something like 10K gallon) when we have a gas well sitting right off the lane. So if you work for Dominion tell them we want a gas line! :)

  3. Not sure if this is really true, but I have a feeling we could possibly put our ground water in danger. We have gas storage well on our property and probably 1 every quarter mile or so. Somehow I think all the gas under there leaks up and brings salt with it. Also have a ton of salt around us (Morton Salt) so maybe that's why we have the problem. Took 5 trys all over oir property to find water w/o salt. Also hate dealing with gas companies about right of ways that seem to always change and telling me I can't pull gas off my well. /end rant

But I'm all for more jobs and income.

  4. Heck I was thinking if the triumph sells and I get wgat I am asking I might sell the dr 350 and upgrade to a wee strom or a dr 650 and set them up for long range stuff, commuting duties. Wish I could get the ok to make a trip like this.

Don't contimplate the dr650 unless you are doing woods or some horrible off road. The wee strom is sooooooooo much of a smother machine and will fit the commuting better. Put a 16 tooth sprocket up front and you will also get way better mileage on road. If your really putting a ton of miles on, car tires fit the back. But that's another can of worms. But I'm trying it after I get all my ME880s used up.

  5. 220 only diffence is 2 wires go to double breaker. Meaning both are hot. uninsulated wire is only one going to ground on breaker box. I've replaced whole breaker boxes that were hot but yours being in a house id go the safe way and turn it all off. Run it in conduit for sure when outside. Not sure what your incoming amperage to the box in house is, but make sure you have enough

  6. DL650 got 53mpg on last 3 tanks. Only on back roads stopping and starting a lot....less than 2 miles between stops. Commutting between barns. I would say that is great. Does have 16 tooth front sprocket with bigger ME880 rear tire

    Klr650 ~40 mpg

  7. We usually haoared all our metal in a pile and then sort through stuff worth keeping for patch work and whatever I feel like making out of it. I have some old barns that I need to take the torch to and rip out all the metal crates along with some stainless. I think price is still up for metal but not quiet like it was a while ago.

  8. Miller! Shame on you :(

Haha served me well so far. Been through a big roll of stainless wire and a couple of regular. Pretty much infinite amount of settings whereas others just have a few.

  9. What do you want to weld? Thickness? Mig is good for thin stuff but in your price range id say you you would probably be stuck with stick. I have a 140 amp mig welder and it would weld 3/8 rod to 5/8 with a bit of work. But that was maxing it out. Now I also have a Miller 252 should have just bought a bigger one from the beginning. Save up and go big if you ever want to weld a lot of thick metal.
