Yes they did...but up until this year they stayed hands off...guess they were tired of Ducati ruining their rep....since all you pay for is the name anyway....lol....
Ducati found some extra pace in MotoGP after the summer break.
Wonder how much German engineering went into finding the podiums? Hmm

I think this league has been 8 for the last few years. And agree you can do decent with a little luck in the draft. I have been 2 or 3 in the league most years I played and I have yet to actively participate in the draft.
Don't be agreeing with me Pittsburgh lover...

I didnt really experience racism up here. It's just more of the whole, lack of diversity. People just didnt grow up with it as they did down there so its not as "normal".
Biggest thing I've noticed is women arent as inclined to date asian men as they were down south.
Well since this thread is jacked anyway...
I grew up in South Lorain County. I was one of two minorities in the whole school. You ready for this? Sure everyone will get a big laugh. I hated Taco Bell simply because of ONE commercial. Last four years of high school all I heard was, "Yo Taco, run for the border!" I'm actually Peurto Rican so technically I swam. Now I can laugh about it. But back then, I'd throw down a bunch. Only three suspensions! Like you I was also adopted into a white family.
But being Asian must suck ass. That community is tight and I'm sure you don't fit in with the culture. And for women---not to stereo type but your fucked! Just become a millionaire. Lots of gold diggers out there! Money wins over penis size every time. ( Joke, please don't get butthurt, I also poked fun at myself).

I did love living down there, loved the people, the diversity. I've been told I wouldnt recognize it now. (It's been a little over a decade since I've been back.)
Yes, diversity. Something that needs to happen on OR. ( yea, gotta stir the pot a bit). My community had many Asian, Indian, black and Hispanics on just one block. My kids haven't had to deal with the racial crap yet.

Where'd you live in Tejas? I lived outside of H-town in Sugarland for 10 years.
Did a few years in Keller (Fort Worth) then finished in Cypress (Houston). Houston was really a great place outside of three months. (June-July-August).

I suggest we get 12 before drafting. Makes things more competitive and the waiver wire adds more strategy. Just my opinion. With 8 teams can get loaded out of sheer luck. Which is not fun.

I did the majority of my learning on an 2006 f4i. I really liked that bike. Minus the banana seat.
Yea, Honda gay'd them up after the rr was established. Never understood why they offered both bikes for a few years. They never sold.
I purchased one of the first ones in the area from Competition. To me FI on a 600 was a big deal. After putting 25k miles on the street it did ANOTHER three years Endurance racing. We never had a DNF because of a mechanical issue. Sold it to a local guy before leaving for Texas. Wonder how long he had it.

I sure miss my F4i. Mine was an 01 with 30k miles, and was due for a cam chain tensioner when I sold it. Great bike, more comfortable ergos than an RR IMO. Height issues never bothered me, 30 inch inseam, you get used to it.
The manual cam chain tensioner upgrade was a very smart upgrade. When putting them on the track, high mount exhaust (power commander) and upgraded rearsets, steering dampener were a must.

Awesome you had a good time!
Just noticing a trend...
-
I'm very intimate with the F4i. Early models had cam chain tensioner issues. Other than that, bullet proof. Plus it's fun going just as fast if not faster on a bike while others are making payments and getting hit with full coverage premiums.

if I remember right, the NESBA username and password should have carried over....had trouble with it when I first tried to sign up too
Well, apparently I was highly consistent with usernames back then!

If you rode with NESBA they probably have your info.
Gotcha, I'm so out of the loop. Yea, I've spent a ton of cash with that org! Ha

Apparently I've rode with org before. My email addy is registered. Can't remember the user name I might of used. Just sent a message to the admin.

That was my thoughts. I have no problems with the lead follow, slowly ramp it up. But after lunch---game on!
Apparently it's on the web site of the format. I assumed and wasted a bunch of money. Especially when taking a chance because rain was forecasted. And the N group was practically dead 4th of July.

^ And finally someone is smelling what I've been stepping in. Really hope they re-evaluate this policy. Money don't grow on tree's. I know newbs need this, but they are very evident to whom they are.

Got bumped down to novice which sucked pretty bad, especially since there was 32+ in N. Finally got a bump back up to I group with two sessions left and got back down to 1:46s so it wasn't a total waste... still better than being at work!
I feel ya, big pride pill to swallow. Little to much money to spend to follow the leader in my opinion. 1:46's, you had no business in the N group.

I'm going to disagree with you. Basically anyone first time at the track doesn't know what their doing and needs monitored and hand held? If your in the sport its most likely because you have done other things in your life successfully. IMO, morning sessions are used to identify those who need additional coaching, it's very evident.
Track days shouldn't be about "Making lemonade out of lemons". Especially at the amount of coin it takes. That format is really turning people off, especially experienced track day riders and ex-racers. People were pissed the day I went and by the sounds of it, going down hill.
The saying use to go, the only two levels you wanted to be in were N and A groups. The I group usually was the meat grinder. No way would I recommend this to experienced guys going to Mid-O being stuck in N group.
