I have an Arai Corsair V, currently arai's "best" helmet. When actually, its just the most expensive. Im not a big fan, its loud, and not as comfortable as my old arai quantam 2. If i could find someone with a monster quantam 2, i would trade them in a heartbeat

forget a vest, and i get you a hookup on a armored suburban, same one that saved that guys ^ life

i would pick it up if it wasnt 150 miles away. 9 times out of 10 they just need a good carb cleaning. I bought one a while back that didnt run, took the carb apart and saw that the jet was clogged. ran decent after i fixed that.

Everytime Ive looked at a bike, the seller hasnt asked for anything, and ive probably does this over 25 times. When im selling something, I just ask for the keys to whatever they rode/drove there as collateral

whats with the name? makes me wanna see if it floats!
its actually a Suzuki GT750, its nicknamed the water buffalo because it was big and was the first production water-cooled Japanese motorcycle. I know someone who has one in pieces in their garage, ive been thinking about buying it, but i know parts are hard to come by

i love when people say that they had to lay down the bike.. thats never even an option for me ever.. the bike can do it.. just whether the rider can. first thing i always tell new riders (on sportbikes at least) your bike can do more than you are willing, if you need to get out of a jam have faith your tires will hold
+ 10000, plus, they are so small, you can always swerve and split, or even use the e-lane. OP if you had time to make a conscious decision to get on the brakes or dump it, and then take the time to jump off the bike. you had plenty of time to stop.
-
i dont understand why you had to "dump" it, your brakes will slow you down alot faster than your body sliding on the pavement.

see it asap, i love it

i didnt even think about that, if they are teaching you on a stunt bike, you will be in the same boat you are right now when you get back on your own bike. Those bikes will pop up 100x easier

I have done many wheelies, and I've landed them all (one them being in the triple digits). I am looking at refining my technique, learning from the pros. Maybe learning a cool trick or two. Plus learning on their bikes takes a lot of the nervousness out of the equation.
450 bucks is crazy, seriously find a friend with a dirtbike
