Thats the 13+1 mag, make it 'service length' the other mag is 10 rounds, fits flush and makes it easier to carry, it's considered a compact gun, although it really doesn't feel like it. It's about the same size as my 70 series .45 with the 13 rd clip in, and just about 3/4 of an inch shorter with the 10 rd mag in.
