now thats a bitch, i had the same problem on my '04 from the previous owner, much a headache.

So do you think you would be able to do anything different.. then what has been attempted the last couple of times to fix this.. ??

man i could help ya out with the stator cover, wheres it leakin at?

well.. heres the story.. laid bike down=cracked stator cover.. got a used stator cover and misread the torque specs on the stator cover screws and stripped one of the bottom screws. Had a guy heli coil it for me and had another shop seal..reseal.. and reseal like 3 times. and it still leaks.. from somewhere around the bottom.

I just keep wiping the bottom of the stator cover everytime I stop when I ride... its annoying.

Conrad... tell ya what. YOU ... try and diagnose where my stator cover is leaking and fix it... and Ill let you have my stock exhaust. Or at least help me w/ the damn thing... as it still leaks. SOOO ANOYING.

In his 1st post he had mentioned that Honda products were low, so I did not get my hopes up. Lukily he had ONE left in stock for my specific bike. I went ahead and just got the Maxi Race-Tech w/ the aluminum silencer for a little over $200 which is amazing compared to the $400+ some odd dollars I would have spent for a Yoshi or Two Brothers which were my other options.

Tomcat... thanks for the reference. Just purchased one a few minutes ago. Greg said it should be here by fri. At that time I will make a new thread in the c-bus section w/ before-during-after pics !!!

Seems as if people love pulling out in front of me... SO I figure if its loud enough they'll at least hear something coming !

Or if anyone has any recommendations as to a good place to pick up a fairly priced slip on exhaust for my 06 600RR.

but myself and about 7 others headed out by sunbury and found a few good twisties so it wasnt a failure.

Hope to roll w/ some OR guys next time though.

Will any one have extra OR windscreen decals ... I've never tried to acquire one untill now.

I know where you guys usually meet up @ before QS&L, but I did see something in another QS&L thread about a few guys meeting up in Pickerington and then convoying up to the spot before QS&L.

If anyone knows of this information It would be greatly appreciated.
