You can also test to see if it's the fuel pump pretty easily if it's a carb model since they don't require much pressure... You just setup an IV bag type of setup where it hangs above the bike with tubing connecting to the hose for the fuel rail. This way you're routing around the fuel pump. One gotcha to this I found was that the wires that connect to the tank must be connected for the bike to start.... This helps you determine if the fuel pump/filter is the issue, or if the carbs are the issue. Jason

I'm not sure exactly what kind of bike you have, but I have a 99 CBR 600F4 and I was able to use this guide to take mine apart and clean them when I was having a problem with the bike cutting out on me. It doesn't cover getting them out of the bike, but I would just remove the tank completely as it makes it easier to get in there... You'll also need a really long screwdriver(like 10-12") to go through the frame to loosen the bands that hold the carbs onto the gasket connecting to the top of the motor. http://www.cbrforum.com/m_311016/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm Hope this helps... I am selling a Michelin Pilot Power 2CT Front Tire 120/70ZR/17. I have rode on this tire approx 30 miles (Around town and highway - not track) but i've decided to go with a diffrent tire. I intended on using this tire eventually but now I am in need of some cash. Tire is 99.9% like new and is in perfect condition. $90 and it's yours.

Nick, Why are you selling that bike, are you moving up to a liter bike, or what? Any extra's on it, or is it pretty stock?

I'm looking to paint some small items like cowls, fairings, helmets, etc... What's the best size, HP, and Max PSI Air Compressor to get for this kind of thing? I won't be doing this as a buisness, just stuff for me tinkering around the garage sort of thing. I'd like to operate some tools of the compressor too such as grinders, and impact wrenches. Any input on what to get/what not to get would be appreciated Thanks, Jason

Hey everyone, I just bumped into this forum yesterday looking for some info on a motorcycle accident up this way that happened on Tuesday. I'm usually on CBRforums.com, but I'd like to meet more people locally to ride with and hang out. I've got a 99 CBR 600 F4, I've had it for about a year and a half, and love it. I also have a 94 Kawasaki KX250 dirtbike that I got recently, and I'm having a ton fo fun on. I ride a decent bit up north, we usually hit a couple bike nights a year a Quaker State and Lube in Cleveland, and we usually ride down in southern Ohio a few times a year on some curvies. I was there before, but it was before they took over ownership of that bar, it used to be called VooDoo. I've heard they have had some pretty good bands and such there so far. If anyone is interested in going up there and hanging out let me know, I live in Akron. Jason
