Gotcha, I might have some needle nose in my tool box at my apt. I'm at work until 8 though. You're near campus right? I could probably stop by after I get off work though...if you haven't got it fixed by then.
Yeah, I think it would be an awesome experience. Its really long rides though and camping...like 12 hour days for 5-7 days. There will definitely be plenty of notice about this...I don't even have a bike... Your 250x would have been perfect for this.
If you had a bike you could have seen it in person on the ride today.. Last couple pics its on the far left, parked next to cleaner's 1000rr: http://www.ohio-riders.net/showthread.php?t=14453&page=5 I've got some close ups but the paint looks orange in it for some reason. I'll post them later when I find my memory stick..
She has been riding for a few weeks but hasn't gone out on any serious rides. We are still doing a little work on her bike getting it more road ready..
Yeah, I got caught in this shit too...I was headed over to Hinds to pick up parts for the g/f's bike. I even looked at the radar and was thinking that it looked pretty isolated but then it hit Columbus and just sat over the city for like 3 hours.
Welcome back man...and welcome to the 'no car club'. My only advice is to get some good rain gear, check the weather often, and make sure you have some sort of backpack or tail bag for transporting your shit around town.
