I haven't taken a safety course, yet. I'll probably take one when my g/f does. I took my test on a 600rr and passed the first time. This was after having my temporary permit 3 different times (I finally decided to take the test instead of letting it expire again, lol). The lady who gave me my test said she has never seen anybody weave the cones that fast..

Cool, just talked to one of my buddies who had his Cobra inspected and he basically said the same thing. Haha, I'm over here worried about reflectors and shit. I'll make sure I have all my receipts in order then..

That sucks..I hate thieves. I'll keep an eye out..

Anybody done one of these before? I'm wondering if I need reflectors on the bike? I hope the rain holds off...I have to ride all the way down to Jackson for this.. Edit: Inspectio + n = Inspection

+1 I bought my BT002 from them at the beginning of the month..had them here in like 3 or 4 days. I'll be breaking them in Tuesday when I ride to get my salvage inspection completed.

I haven't totaled up everything yet...but I think around 6k. I already bought the paint....viper red.

Thanks for all the comments.. I was going to paint it this morning but ran out of time before I had to head into work. I'll be painting it tomorrow though...pics of the paint will follow shortly after. This thing has to be done on Tuesday for my salvage inspection. Miss mine too....sold it last September. They are a lot of fun but my next jeep will be something a little bit longer.

RIP... My thoughts are with his wife and family.. I heard about this accident on the radio this morning without knowing any details...this is a very sad story. It seems like a rider dies every week in Columbus...cagers really need to start paying more attention! Everybody please ride safe...ride like you are invisible!

Hammer + Tire Iron = Rotors Straight Enough I straightened out the original rotors enough that I can't feel pulsing in the brake lever...so I'm going to call it good enough. Anyways, I finally got to take the new RR for a real ride and it kicks ass.

Well, the rotors that came on the bike looked like they had been pinched together. I'm guessing that the tow truck driver strapped the front wheel or something and bent them. The other rotors I bought were used but luckily the guy said he would refund my money. I'll try to bend the originals back to true...I need to get this thing on the road.

I can't find straight rotors! Anybody know if there is a shop in Columbus that can straighten motorcycle rotors? My stock rotors look like they are only bent at the mounting flange. I bought some replacements but they are warped, too!

I agree..offer what you want to pay for one. Make sure you ride it though (and get it up to speed) to see if you are satisfied with its power and to see what it cruises like at highway speeds. The description says he has replaced the headlight setup with Acerbis one...which if its the one I'm thinking of it should be decent.

Yeah, I used to get parts, etc. from Classic and was always treated good there. I've been to MOC once or twice and that place is a joke. They're like the Time Warner of motorcycle dealerships.

Is the liner removable? How's the fit compared to Shoei...I wear a medium in Shoei.
