  1. lol oh really? yeah they are quiet but dont make alot of power.
  2. honda makes a super quiet generator but its small and expensive. i think i may just rent 1. i dont know. kinda wondering how big a 1 id need to run the a.c..
  3. thanks for all the replys. sounds like i should go for it. my only concern now is the lack of electricity.
  4. thanks for the replys. so what do you think for the price stay at mid ohio or camp somewhere else and just go to the races and do the track days. me and my family have grown accustomed to ammenitites like hook-ups. wouldn't be so bad if you could run a generator but i think thats against the rules during 'quiet time'. im worried it will be ass hot during the night and we wont even be able to run a fan!
  5. looking for a little insight. preferable the helpful kind. i'd like to check these races out. ive heard camping is a steal if u camp there the whole week. also have heard theres no hook-ups. i'd be bringing a 26 foot travel trailer. so i'd have to buy or borrow agenerator i guess. ive also heard after 2200 hours its quiet time and generators have to be shut down? i'd be bringing my children and am concerned about some of these issues. So to the question. can anyone confirm or deny any of these things? can any give me some personel experience with this and recommendations up to and including not doing this. P.S. id like to do 1-2 track days during that week while i would be there. thanks.
  6. Holy Macaroni! well clearly they let anyone in this group.... i guess i'll be putting up a privacy fence because there goes the neighborhood.
  7. speaking of liberty. one of my favorites from another pretty smart american. ' Those that who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty or safety'.
  8. I like what your talking about.
  9. good times it looks like . hopefully ill get to meet some of u guys next year.
  10. looks like u guys are having fun. is spring here yet? have u seen curve chasers announced its 2009 track days? 5/23/09 and 08/02/09.
  11. i was kinda of hopin that they would allow the COMPLETED track to be used for bikes when they were done with it. the large track looks a speed freaks heaven.
  12. what i mean to ask is, does anyone know if the complete track will be used for bikes
  13. coming along nicely. has anyone heard what track layout they plan to use for bikes once the track is completely done?
  14. damn. thanks. now i feel like a complete puss in the rain.
  15. i will no doubt be doing mid ohio and putnam. i'm planning on trying out bluegrass and gratton or beaverun. so yes i'd be in just so long as i would not have some other commitment i could not get out of. i do believe bluegrass has already commited to easter weekend, april 11th and 12th to STT. that would be a good season opener. traveling south would increase potential for warmer weather. however rain is often in the forecast that time of the year.
  16. yeah after a year i figured i should come out of my shell. ive mostly used forums for info. but this one seems to be pretty social and i thought it may be a good platform to meet fellow enthusiast at rider's events. thanks to the warm welcome's
