Why did they keep the other 5 bucks? Only thing I can imagine is because of the fee paypal charges you, but its not your fault they backed out. Id make sure to get the other 5 bucks back also. Sure its only 5 bucks, but its the principle....

I like this attitude here. If they don't bother you why should it matter. That's how my dogs are. They may stand up and look at you, but they wont budge unless they are told. I have several people in my neighborhood (probably the same people that call my dogs Pits) that freak out and say they need to be on leashes or put away, even though they have never even moved at them. Unfortunately, situations like the OP's causes well behaved dogs to get lumped in with ALL dogs. I guess that is just like anything in life though. Let me clarify to PDQGP, I was not being sarcastic, I like your thinking.

One more thing I thought of. Check into local laws where you live. They could be different than mine. I technically live in Columbus, so all of the Franklin county laws apply to me. Smaller city's could have their own rules, Powell, Reynoldsburg, Gahanna, etc. Also, if you have a HOA, they could place rules that are fineable also, even though the city says its ok. Either way, good luck.

That is the misconception. The dog can be loose anywhere, unless specified (i.e. some dog parks, private property...), as long as it is under supervision AND OWNERS CONTROL. I had to prove this to the animal control people that my dogs would listen to me. So, if you do get them on camera and the owners are out there, just show that the dogs are not listening to their owners - assuming the owners tell it to stop or stay. The camera can be your best friend, if you get the right info on it.

Yeah, document for sure. I do know a little about this as I have had several neighbors call animal control on my dogs suspecting them of being Pits, they are actually boxers. They came out a few times and inspected them, so while they were here I asked them about rules. I had my dogs trained, so I never have them on leashes, but they are always under my supervision. This is actually legal. your neighbors are for sure breaking the law. They must be confined to their yard while not being supervised. My point in this is when you get the dogs on tape, make sure you point out the fact the owners are no out there. Good luck and remember a good stiff arm with your palm into the nose will put down almost any dog forever.

This is a good point right here. Make sure you ask around about some agents to people you know and trust as well. My last agent was worthless. I made a theft claim once and they would not help at all. They just told my to call the Nationwide claim number. I switched agents shortly after that. When I just had my cars broken into a few weeks ago, my new agent has been great. I still had to call the claim number but they are now acting as a middle man FOR me. They even came out to make sure all my repairs were to my liking. If you have or want Nationwide, let me know and I will send you their name. Good luck either way.

I think you would need the build codes. Check out nastyz28.com for some info...I forget how we found out on mine but I think it had something to do with the console or trunk or something....Mine did not have the lower spoiler either, but it was a Z28...they came with them from the factory but like mine, someone may have taken them off that one you are looking at. Sorry I cant be more help. Its been too long and Ive slept since then....
