  8. FS: 1986 GMC Jimmy K5 4X4...

    I have a 1986 Jimmy K5 4X4 (the big full size one) for sale. It has been a great truck for me, but I recently upgraded to a new Ram. The truck is in good shape for the year. It does have some rust starting (it is 21 years old!!), but nothing compared to what you normally see on these. It has a 305 V8 with around 135,000 miles on it with no leaks anywhere whatsoever. These things will last forever. It also has the removable top (though I have never had it off.) It does have some upgrades, such as a "towing" cam, edelbrock carb, Long tube headers, true dual exhaust (sounds great, not loud not too quiet - very throaty) Aftermarket wheels and nearly new 32" tires, heavy duty front bumper. It does need a little work, but is a great runner as is. The left front fender has a dent and needs replaced and painted to match the rest of the body, the grille could be replaced, and there is no choke on the carb (I just get under the hood and do it manually - I will show you how). It runs and drives great and pulls my 21 foot boat with no problems at all. New parts include Cam, Carb, Brakes, Spark plugs, Spark plug wires, Distributor Cap and rotor, Power steering pump, Alternator, All exhaust, Heater core, and more. I have the title in hand ready to go. I want $2800 for it and am slightly flexible, but have the cash in front of me to negotiate.

    Here are some pics of my 98 ram I just got yesterday. It needs cleaned up and waxed badly but overall great condition. Its a 5.9 Auto 4X4. So far it been nice. It will be used to mostly pull the boat. The 86 Jimmy will be for sale soon, anybody want it? Here's the pics...

    I like this one alot. It is a sport with a white with gray interior. They gave me a folder about an inch think of documentation of work and maintenance. This will be the new boat puller. Now I have to sell the Jimmy K5. Anybody interested? Ill post a for sale ad soon.

    The thing that makes me believe it may be a REAL cop, is the fact that you hear the individual beeps inbetween radio transmissions. Also being in Texas for 4 years of my life, I saw lots of un-marked cars IE. B4C Camaros, Impala SS's, even a Monte Carlo. Not too hard to believe :) Cops have a sense of humor too.

     

     

    I should do that to my B4C...have some fun with alot of people around here. My luck I would do it to a REAL under cover and got to jail...
