  1. I would be up for putting the money up and then some. I know the track is a sit hole, but it would be good to have a place to go race for free. Then charge to set up all these other races and slowly make the track better, then work you way out adding extra amenities. If only I had bet on the lottery. I wish...
  2. I dont think it is seized because I am able to help lift it up. Nad when the top is closed, if I push it part of the way up It will go back down itself. Also Rob can you get me those part numbers so I can go ahead and start buying those parts. Thanks
  3. I have a 90 gt mustang drop top. I need to know if there is a way to tell if I need a new cylinder or a new motor. When it is warm the top tries to move but cant lift itself. When it is cold it wont move at all. I can hear something, I assume it is the motor I can hear. Which makes me think it is the cylinder that is bad, along with the problems in different temperatures. Thanks
  4. Is your zoning under Dublin or Columbus?? Though in either, I've seen boats in the driveway without a problem.

People giving quotes about what you can/can't do don't mean anything unless they are quoting zoning for where YOU live. In Reynoldsburg, the back yard is fine, but so is the driveway, as long as the trailer is currently registered. For me, the side yard was NOT ok (zoning f'ers made me come out and move it, any my boat is decent looking w/ a custom cover).

Your best bet is to get a copy of the zoning rules (my neighbor printed them out from online and put them in my mailbox, highlighting her favorite things to bitch at me about, all the while me seeing which stuff I thought I was breaking the rules on that I wasn't, and what stuff I CAN get away with :D ).

I talked to the zoning officer and he said no where on my property is allowed. The only way it would be allowed is if I submitted plans for a concrete pad to the zoning board and got an approval, which he said is hard to do in this area. If we did get it approved he said it would add more onto our property taxes since it is considered a space improvement. I just found out though, since Im still in the marines I can take it and store it at DSCC. Its 150 so thats not too bad, for still being local and I can get to it anytime I want. But Id still rather leave it on my piece of land I pay for. Seriously, its more like we are renting from the government.

  5. I keep mine in the back yard during off-season. Perfectly legal here as long as it is currently registered. Is that an option for you (sorry, can't offer up my back yard...too much stuff back there as-is).

Im not sure. I called the zoning enforcement officer to ask him, but I am still awaiting a call back. If I put it in my side yard but behind the front of the house (I dont know if you remember when you were here or not Joe) do you think that would be ok? I just wish my neighbors were not such ass holes. Its not like its some big piece of shit sitting in the yard. It is In the drive with the cover on, clean, and all. This is what I hate about being back in the subburbs.

  6. My boat. Some ass in my neighborhood keeps calling on my boat being at my house. I guess city ordinance has a law against it sitting in my "setback" which is, I guess, from the front of my house on. I can't leave it in the street either unless I leave it hooked up to something and move it every 72 hours at least 4 feet. Does anyone have somewhere REALLY cheap to store something? I prefer indoor but at this point only have 10 days left to move it so Im pretty open. The boat is 21 foot long, but with the trailer and outdrive Im guessing more like 24-25 feet long. So, putting it in my garage is about 5 feet out of the question. I would be fine with it even sitting in a barn. If anyone has somewhere let me know how much and how soon I can take it, or if you know of somewhere like that. Thanks

  7. Hey, I have a 1988 BMW 735i that needs the trans rebuilt (or so MAG says). I would prefer to just drop the whole car off, but if you can give me a price on both in the car and if I just drop off the Trans. One other thing the car is originally from Canada so it has the canadian stuff, though Im not sure if the trans is different than the ones here. I have the car stored at a farm not close so a good quote would be better than me having to go get it and bring it here for you to look at. Anyway let me know a price if you can. Thanks
  8. I have 5 - 17X9.5 Zr1 replica wheels. Problem is 3 are polished and 2 are silver. The wheels are in great shape. Only one of the wheels has a tire on it. I don't have pics bu can meet up to show you if interested. I need to clean house. More stuff will come soon. Thanks. Oh yeah, price...350obo? Thanks again.

  9. Hmm, I say shoot the fucker if you find him... maybe just in the foot... talk to him for a while.. then in the groin and leave him to bleed out... if the consequences were more severe in this country, there wouldn't be so many thieves.

Much agreed. Also consider, if the consequences were higher, there would be less people in this country (illegally), causing more jobs, causing higher paying jobs, creating more money, lessening most peoples need or want to steal. Although there are those who are just lazy...who are a different type all together, who are not able to be helped. My .02

  10. All I can really say is wow (but I'll say more anyway). Needed to get my headers and exhaust done with less than 24 hours notice and they were able to get me in within 12 hours. The next day after I got it back I had a wiring issue, they told me to bring it down and they would check it out for free. They not only checked it out for free, but also fixed it for free. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for fast and excellent service with great customer value and VERY well priced, especially for such short notice. I have several more cars that will be coming your way. Thanks again for ALL your help.
