  1. No special sections for any 1 bike. We're all just riders. There's a lot of people on here that really know their shit, no matter what the bike, so if you have a specific question just start a new thread and you'll get help!! Welcome!

  2. Thanks man. I figured just over a year was long enough without a job.. Yeah get your ass up here asap!!

  3. And just like that.. I reappear!!

  4. 2500 wouldnt be a bad deal, but man that duke would be so much more fun!!

  5. ...cont... Especially if you go with the dirt version, because the suspension sucks. A great source of info for all these bike is www.thumpertalk.com

  6. The DRZ400 is a cool bike, I've actually owned 2 of them over the last few years. The problem with them is they are fairly heavy and pretty tame on power in stock trim. Aren't those about the same price Todd wants for his duke? ($4000). The DRZ hasnt changed since '00 or '01, so if you're gonna go that route, find the cheapest one possible so you have some $$ left for mods.

  7. ....continued...

I wanna build up a set of SM wheels for my WR but I'll have almost $2000 in them to be complete and I just can't justify that right now. So basically you just have to decide what you really wanna do with it. I'll be at the OR bike night tomorrow (and maybe even the Lube tonight) and you're more than welcome to take my WR250R for a ride anytime. Hopefully I'll see you there. Any other questions feel free to ask. I've ridden and owned dual sports and motards for the last 5 years, not to mention I've been working in the motorcycle industry for the last 10! .. Michael

  8. I love the motard scene and the dual sport scene as well. I had a 2007 DR650 last year and it's an ok bike, but it doesn't really do anything well. It's ok on the street but nothing special and too heavy for the dirt. If you get a motard, you wouldn't want to use it on anything more serious than a dirt road. I've got my WR set up for primarily dirt because I'm much more of a dirt rider than street. I really like the KTM Duke, I think Todd#43 is still selling his as we speak. That bike is a blast! Definitely not an off road bike, but that thing will out corner your Duc and is just a blast to go raise hell on and the nice thing about motards, (or dual sports) is you can beat the crap out of it and even crash it and not do thousands of dollars worth of damage.. If I had the money I'd prolly buy Todds Duke and then if you wanna ride dirt also, pick up a used 250 of 450f for a couple grand.

  9. me likey that Jeep.. hmmm

  10. What's up man? I saw that thread but I'm enjoying my time off and will be back in the spring. Just been hanging out lately, doing as little as possible and spending time with a new chicky.. ;)
