Not sure what they're speaking of, but LS3 heads on a 5.7/6.0 has been done literally tens of thousands of times. They've probably blown their motors due to oil starvation at the pickup tube in the oil pan.

If it were mine, I'd go ported LS3 heads, Fast 92mm intake, Nick Williams throttle body, and a good cam from Texas Speed. If ur blowing a motor tracking the car, u might as well fire your tuner
