    Thanks everyone. We signed the offer docs this morning and paid the earnest money also. Truthfully we were worried about the offer, but we got it down to their asking price and the banks paying closing costs. Closing should be before Dec 30th or before. My gf's mom works for Keller Williams Realty so she's handling it all.

    Diesel is the way to go for sure, better longevity, more power/tq, and better gas mileage.

    There are 2, well were 2 now 1....we pulled comps in the neighborhood and there were 3 houses that sold within this past year that were the same and went for $30k more than we are paying for it. I'm not worried at all, I think it's a good investment since that's really what we bought it for in the long run.

    Look at a sple one made by Directed Electronics....you usually can't go wrong with them. I've had great luck with the cheaper ones from them.
