  1. It's a hard sell. My dad contested the ticket and the DA wouldn't even listen to the case outside of court so it can't be dropped w/o having a hearing. Second the judge said the law is clear and unless you can prove somehow that the road was dangerous (gravel, oil, deer, etc) the court's hands are tied and a guilty ruling will ensue. If you do fight it the probably outcome is that the fine is lifted and you only pay court fees. A savings of a whopping $12 in my dad's case. Those scars are gonna be sweet btw. I bet you're glad you have meds to take the edge off hunh?
  2. Just heard it on the radio so I don't have any details. Everyone ok?
  3. Tetris champ hunh? More like Tetris chump...

  4. Yes there is. There are occasions where an officer will let off an offender with a little more than a warning. It goes on a case by case basis. There isn't a question that driver doing 150 should get a ticket. But, a driver going 75 in a 65? The law is clear that speeding is punishable by a ticket, but how often will you get stopped? Ohio is one of few states that automatically issue tickets in accidents. The judge even told my dad that the officer has the discretion to issue the ticket or not. In the case of my father, what was the purpose of issuing the ticket? To teach him that accidently laying down his bike is wrong? I'm sure he realized that without an authority figure slapping him on the wrist.
  5. I completely understand they're doing their job, but if no one is harmed (other than the operator) then no harm no foul right? The law is on the books but it is up to the discretion of the officer to actually give a citation. Why kick a rider while they're down? If you didn't get a ticket at the time you're probably not going to get one. I was handed the ticket by the officer while my father was getting MRI's.
  6. There are other intangibles like how v-twins are narrower and have bit less rotating inertia than a 4 making them a bit more flickable.
  7. Glad to hear you're alright. Sux to end the season on a low note, but at least now you can do all those upgrades you've been thinking about. Question: Were you cited by the cop for failing to control? Just wondering because when my father went down a couple months ago he got a ticket and I'm just wondering if all Ohio cops are dicks.
  8. you get that text I sent ya?

  9. Wait... You want breast implants? I hope you mean in your mouth and not your chest.
  10. Bwahahaha!! I'm sure both the brain and batwing are in there somewhere...
  11. Can you positively identify any of them?
  12. Yea my screen name seems to change with the seasons. First it was OGs750 then it became AsianSensation and now it's Campus Racer 59. I like to keep everyone guessing.

Are you going to post up the pictures of last night?

You looked great by the way. A carbon copy of SP.

  13. I was one of the Hooters "girls." The tall asian one to be exact.

  14. One of the sexy Hooters girls.

  15. Have a good time last night?

  16. Here are some more artsy style shots... Only info I could dig up on the forks is that they're set up by Dan Kyle. But, that really doesn't reveal much. I don't get the Michelin rubber with the Pirelli sponsors.
  17. Woah I never noticed those spacers before! They're like 15mm! I love the machined lowers. They're my favorite part of the bike.
  18. The paint is custom, not sure where he got the forks though.
  19. Why would it seize? Was he running it w/o oil or something? It's pretty hard to get the engine hot enough to seize the pistons.
  20. Which one? I don't see anything about Xerox.
