  1. Ok. Cool. Thanks guys. I thought they were those things on the spark plugs, but she said the "coil pack" needed replaced. I guess I'll have to ask her if she knows which one. I don't know if she got it scanned or not and I don't know how she knows that it needs replaced. I'll try to get more info from her and then post back here if needed. Thanks again!!

  2. A friend of mine has a 98 TA. She said that the Coil Pack on her car needs replaced. I've heard this term before, but for some reason can't picture in my mind what the heck it is. Can someone tell me what it is and where it's at? I looked in the Haynes Manual and can't find it in the index.

    Thanks,

  3. It's for real. Heard about it on CNN and from a radio station out of Cincy that I stream while at work. They are getting a TON of sponsors to pay for it. They said they are doing this due to rising costs for equip, help, etc, the ticket prices would be higher this year and they want as many people to attend as possible.

With this possibly being the last year that Germain will be open, I will be there!!!

  4. It will grind slightly going into 2nd if you try to shift quickly, if you do a normal shift, most of the time you don't notice it. It will sometimes grind a little going into 3rd as well. Not always though.
  5. I have a 99 T/A, Black, M6, T-tops, light grey leather, 60K miles, no mods. The trans will need to be rebuilt, but it does still drive fine. When I bought it in Tenn, I drove it back here without any problems. The interior is missing the roof panel pieces; it was like this when I bought it. I've replaced both power window motors, trans fluid, both rear axle bearings and seals, and rear diff fluid. I was asking $10K, but have dropped the price to $8K, firm. 6. I finally went with SunRocket and paid for a whole year for $199 which works out to about $17 per month. I've had it for a week now and it's working out great. They've got some pretty cool features on the website as well. I have it set up so that when someone leaves me a voicemail at home, at text message is sent to my cell phone with the phone number that called, the date/time, and how long the message is. I can then log onto the website and listen to my voicemail, or call my voicemail from my cell phone.
  7. How far down the wall are the wet spots? If it's towards the top, you should probably dig the dirt away from the wall, clean the blocks and apply that black tar type sealant to the outside of the wall. If you are putting that pink insulation up, if it gets wet, the insulation will smell like piss.
  8. Just for the record and with my experience, a medical scale will be the only way to tell if it gets close. Those digital ones seem to change and move around a few pounds every time you step onto them.

The digital scale I have seems to be fairly accurate. There have been a few times that I have stepped on and off a few times in a row and the weight stayed the same.
