  1. All that work just to put duals on? sounds kinda crazy.

HA! You should have seen what all we went through just to put the stock springs back on the rear!! LoL!

Actually, it wasn't all that bad, really. Just hot as balls out on Sunday working in a garage with no ventilation. I am pretty sure I sweated out all of the alcohol from Saturday night..... and then replenished those fluids with more alcohol after we were done. Good times!

Let me know if you need help in the future, Heath!

  2. Selling for a friend.

93 Mazda Miata FS: 140K, no rust, 5 spd, flat black/tan, good tan top & rear window, alloys, el windows, cruise, new clutch slave, KYB shocks, fresh fluids, newish t-belt, water pump. Runs great - 30 MPG. $2100 Hardtop not included. I can email pics.

That's funny. You say $2100. His CL ad says $2000. You trying to make $100 off the sale of his car on CR?

  3. If u need concrete work done for it hit up sam he does this an he's near u in canal too

Hope it goes well u defentally have been down on ur luck lately lol

It's going to be a paver patio.

Thanks. The truck has been at Rob's for 2 days (today makes 3). He's trying to find a borescope that will fit in the spark plug hole and has a mirror on the end. He said that if he can't find one, the head will have to come off. If the head has to come off, the engine will get pulled from the truck. FML

If it comes to that, I might have him put headers on it.

  4. Every time I have a major project that I want to get done around the house, I have to call at least 10 companies before I can get someone to commit to it. With the economy being so "crappy", why is it so hard to get someone to come out and do work? Are they lazy? Is my project not going to pay them enough to make it worth their time? What's the deal?

    My current project: A patio.

    1st company:

Beginning of April someone comes out, we discuss the design and all. Tells me he'll have a quote to me in a week. A little more than a week goes by and I get a message stating he had been sick and will have me a quote in a few days. I haven't heard from him since.

    2nd company:

    I actually do get a quote from this company. $10,000 for a 400 - 450 sq ft patio/walkway. Um... I don't think so scooter!

    3rd company:

Supposedly coming out tomorrow between 10 and 11. We'll see.

    4th company:

I called them at 12:30 today. Guy said he was in the middle of something and would call me back in 20 minutes. I haven't heard from him.

This same shit happens with every single major project that I need done. I want to get this patio done soon so that I can enjoy it this summer. It's not looking good. I'm just really frustrated right now.

  5. Don't you need GFI outlets in the kitchen? (around the sink area? :)

Yes and no. You do need a GFI on a circuit that goes near water. You place the GFI outlet on the first outlet of the circuit.

So, looking at his kitchen, it looks like there's 4 outlets. Let's say that all 4 outlets are on the same circuit. Let's also just say that the outlet all the way to the right is the first outlet on that circuit. You would put your GFI outlet there. All the rest of the outlets will then be protected by that one GFI.

  6. That video screams "Daddy doesn't love me!"

At the end of the clip there, the mom is talking about how proud she is of her son and what-not... Notice how far she is standing from him? That's not the sign of a proud mama.

  7. Fucking liars!! $10 any pizza, any size, any crust, any toppings. Bullshit!!! I just tried to order a large, pan, with pep, ham, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, jalepenos, and extra cheese.

Can't order it online. It wouldn't let me. I called the nearby shop and was told that you're only allowed 5 toppings, because it won't cook well with more than 5. WHAT.THE.FUCK.

If that's they case, then why put "any toppings" in the advertisement? Instead, say "$10, any pizza, any size, any crust, up to 5 toppings".

    DUH!!!! Fucking bastards.
