yea, 14b's are even smaller and are upgrades for our cars too...we run 11's on those....whats your point? You require a bigger turbo to go faster is what your saying

Never once did i try to discredit the dudes work or say his car wouldn't be fast. I only agreed w/ a statement regarding the expense of modding the vehicle. You can praise the 3s as much as you want but your starting out w/ a very heavy platform and if your intent is to be very fast you have that obstacle always starring you in the face. You'll need a few extra psi than the next guy that weighs 500-800 lbs less. Again the ic looks nice and good luck w/ your setup.

Thats true, also maybe because there are ALOT more DSM's out there, but true non the less. I dont want it to be rediculously fast. 11's are enough for me(so i say now) And thank you

i have seen critters tail lights before, and he has also seen mine. And the turbos probably are the smallest turbos on any car...and stock for stock, still kicks everyones ass (when i say everyone, i mean most turbo cars)

"Big turbos are the size of your fist" -- I hope you have BIG hands, if not ill sell you a set of BIG fist size turbos. (did 240s even come with turbos?)I consider big turbos the size of your open hand. And size doesnt even matter, the size and flow of the compressor wheel is what matters

I dont know why people are comparing 3s' with dsm's. Only thing ive noticed that are simular are the shiftknobs on 2g dsm's and the domelight in 1g dsm's, the MAS on 2g dsm's, and door handles

makes me kinda regret that i chose judo as my martial art...

You are wrong. And you should see a doctor if your toe is as big as a 9b...and what you did wrong was buy a disposable speed machine.(i do like dsm's) And 12's might feel slow cause you get used to it. Im sure for someone who runs 11's all day is bitching how slow it is and wants 10's.

 

 

Stock IC's are good for 11's they say, i had the core laying around so why not use it.

as far as taking alot of bank....I wouldnt say that much more, especially since you can pic up 14b's, 13 and 15g's for really cheap used. As far as other parts, maybe a little more than the average car just because parts are more expensive because there arent alot of people who make parts, but its getting better

Ha, your talking to some guys that been to the dsm shootout for the last 5 years running and witnessed first hand some of the fastest 3si cars in the country. Not only are they heavy but they are expensive to make really fast. So maybe it should be changed to say it takes a lot of bank to make those tugs fast. [/QB]

 

fastest in the country at the DSM shootout? I dont think so. I went to this years, and the one that looked the most impressive didnt even run. People run high 12's on stock turbos. Just incase you dont know how big stock turbos are, make 2 fists and hold them together and then youll know. Last time i checked high 12's are fast. Fastest 3S i believe is running 9's, wouldnt call that slow either. People with my mods, which are just your BPU mods, who upgrade to 14b turbos (stock automatic dsm turbo i believe) get into the 11's. You just need to upgrade the right stuff, wit the right things

As far as dimensions....about 1 meter X 20cm, me being foreign and using the metric system i cant guesstimate in the old system, sorry. I do know that it has 2" in/outlets

I used to have that problem with ANY filesharing thing, so i gave up. But recently we moved and now my limewire works just fine. I think it had something to do with the firewall

I snowboard, used to skateboard too. I like skateboarding better more bc i hate the cold which unfortunately is required for snow which is required for SNOWboarding, its fun non the less
