Week of the class. Need a head count. I have a meeting this week with the new range we are planning on using. Depending on how that goes I'll be posting the address in the next few days. I'm sorry about this lack of information I normally have the address posted long before now but I am trying to make 3 schedules match up for this meeting and it is a lot harder than normal. If it works out this class will be the first held on this range by us.

Going bang doesn't make up for the lack of rounds you are able to carry or the high bore axis and the manual safety. If it works for you great, but I choose a more efficient gun and encourage people to do the same.

Gauging my numbers for the 18th again to see where we are holding the shooting portion. Parks and scottb are confirmed so far.

We have seen failures come from more single action handgun than any other action type. That speaks a lot about their reliability and why they are low on our recommended list for self defense.

We have had some but not a ton. We see more of an efficiency issue which was the problem. The guy I was talking about never went out and ran his gun hard under stress. He went to the range a lot and shot hundreds of round through it but never really ran it like you would in a life or death situation. After seeing how how the gun and him performed under stress together as one he realized what we were getting at the whole morning when we were talking about firearm selection and the difference between effective and efficient.
