  1. Also on the left under 'By content type'   that should be set to  'Forums' so you see posts....rather than members where you see new members for example.

    Casper is an idiot.

i think i am the idiot. not seeing those anywhere in my settings. can you be more specific?

  2. Had mine out for a total of three flights, let the kids fly it and now one of the motors are shot because they left the throttle up when it crashed.  good thing there are cheap replacements on Amazon.  anyone else had a motor failure already?

  3. Got mine today!!! Too bad I have too much going on to play with it. Sump pump to replace then off to camp Lazarus for the maple syrup festival. My sons scout troop will be working the BB gun range. Stop by if you make it out. Hopefully we don't get washed away.

Bow dog. Did you turn the packaging over? That's where I found the extra propellers, propeller guards screwdriver cord Etc.

  4. Ordered mine on the 11th.  tracking shows it processed through the sort facility in New York on Friday.  looking forward to getting it in the air.

on another note.  curse this website and all of you.  I've gone from a simple liking of motorcycles too spending too much monies on motorcycles, guns, knives, and now RC aircraft.

  5. Tried to get a few quick pics with the DSLR of the Blood Moon this morning.  this is the best I could get.  I REALLY need to learn how to use this camera.  I read the manual but its mostly Greek to me.  I tried the custom settings but they look way worse than the automajic settings.  Any tips?

  6. I built a 30 x 40 in 2008. 10 foot high sidewalls, clear panels along the top of one side walls for light.  10 foot sliding door on both ends.  No power or water and a gravel floor.  its primary use is to store the toys and tractor and implements.

I used www.DIYpolebarns.com to buy all the materials through.  At the time the kit ran me $7,500.  looks like their prices have gone up a little since (like everything).  They are a great company to work with.  Quick to answer any questions I had (and there were a lot of them) even on the weekends. Don't know what part of the state your in, but if you can claim it as agricultural use and not have to file for permits, you will save yourself a ton of headaches in permit fees and inspections.

As others have said, figure out how big of a barn you want and double it.  it fills up FAST!

  8. I currently have Frontier's 3 meg DSL.  It works for us.  The kids play Xbox, I can stream HD Netflix.  Working from home isn't the best setup, but I can get by with it.

Not sure where your located but their is a new service in my area, www.skywirez.com they are a fixed wireless setup and are promising speeds up to 10 meg.  Its a mirrored service so you get the same upload as you do download.  Also a little pricey in my opinion.  I am thinking about giving the 6 meg plan a try just to see how well it works. They tell me that they are in the process of expanding and growing their coverage. they haven't updated their coverage map yet, and right now I am on the edge of what their map shows.

  9. Well the inspector was out yesterday and failed my installation.  According to the inspector and the NEC, you have to have a separate, insulated ground for the pool equipment.  This means the 2 runs of 12/2 UF need to be removed and replaced with THWN wire.  Did I mention that 12/2 UF doesn't pull worth a sh!t through PVC conduit.  Looks like i am re-pulling wires tonight!!

    Anyone have a need for 2 90-foot pieces of 12/2 UF?  :-)
