haha nice... Ft gordon seems very laid back and relaxed.. at least during personal time. It might change when I actually start training though... Hell i dunno what to expect. I havent done shit all day today.. I guess I better run down to the DFAC and get some food before I try to figure out when formation is lol...

I just found out im going to be in reception until after winter exodus because they dont want to start signal classes again until after the break. so i'm going to be sitting on my ass in phase IV for 4 weeks before ttraining is even going to start.. FML... What is your MOS Benyen?

i got a very bief encounter with the 50 cal and the 240 for one day only... that was definitely fun! the AT4 was freakin awesome.. It scared the crap out of me though. Since I shot the highest in my platoon for females they let me fire it.. that was an awesome day!

one of my best friends just got over there about a month ago and he's staying super busy but says its not that bad. I'm pretty adaptable to situations so I really dont think a deployment would be that bad for me.. BCT made me want to do infantry stuff lol... but im just gonna be a commo private for awhile so i wouldnt be doing anything exciting anyway... probably radio log duty at all hours of the night..

doesnt mean you cant have fun with them.. the army pays us to shoot their toys... nothing wrong with that at all!!! +1 lol... I think I like the m4 the most. But thats probably cuz I'm kinda scrawny and the SAW kinda kicked my ass around at first.. lol

I think I am going to get "pain is weakness leaving the body" somewhere.. i'd like to do a collar but that might be too many words. regardless, i am definitely getting some more ink while I'm down here.. maybe elaborate my stars on my hips and expand in down and then go up my side

not 100% but Ohio National Guard is still mobilizing for Iraq at the moment. But its the Army so thats subject to change at any moment up until the moment I get on a plane

true story!!! there are alot of people still riding down here. So far most of the ones I have seen are riding sensibly with plenty gear on! Granted if they are on base they are required by law to where their helmets so thats a good thing for sure. Its been killin me to be in this nice ass weather and not be able to ride..

well, i just got settled in here at Ft Gordon.. its sooo diferent from Ft Jackson. And the DFAC food is sooooooooooo much better. and drinkings coffee again makes me super happy. Its raining and cold down here though... oh well I'm so happy to have my laptop and phone again! My friend is in my unit back home and he said I should expect to deploy when I get back sometime next year. Deployment is already factored into my plans because I want to go back to school, but I want to deploy first so that I can have that money when I go to school so i dont have to work while im at UC fulltime for the first year or so

Since I am National Guard I was instantly shot down for the prmotions so I will have to earn all of mine the hard way.... but i will be going active pretty much immediately as i will most likely deploy as soon as i get done with AIT and get a tour done right off the bat before i try to go back to school full timee

im definitley hhappy to be back though

i slept thru alll the classes!! they have pics to prove it tooo... i stilll stayed on top of the classes lol

I did it! I graduated from basic combat training for the US Army today!!! after 10 weeks of lots of pushups, running, footmarches, shooting targets, shooting the machine guns and blowin shit up I am now an American Soldier!!! Some of you will be surprised to hear that I qualified sharpshooter with a 35/40 with my M16. I was kinda pissed that I didnt get expert but i was third highest shooter in my platoon and the highest female I'm definitely happy to be done though.. I missed the interwebz ALOT!!! lol
