…to start one last thread on CR.

 

This has been a fun ride for me. I didn’t get involved until 2007, but I quickly started having fun. I’ve met so many people, some of which will be lifelong friends. I was working crappy mechanic jobs changing oil and busting tires, now I’m a GM Master Technician working at a dealership. I still have the same Camaro but back then it was a cam only mild street car, and last year it made 1000rwhp on Dyno Brian’s dyno. I’ve had a few other toys along the way and did some stuff I may never had tried. It was because of CR that I knew about Cars&Coffee, and started going there when there was probably a dozen people who showed up regularly. Then Doc decided to create a hangout in the winter, and that was fun too. Not to mention private track rentals that I never knew I needed.

 

The last 15 years have been great for me, and gave me many things to get out and do. It’s sad for me to see a big part of my life come to an end. I’m grateful for everyone involved and very glad to have been a part of it, thank you.

I met this flippen guy so ide day CR was a good thing. Hands down some of my best years were with some of you all.

It could be the EATC o-ring failure common on the control units. I had the same thing happen on my Marauder.

So from my understanding this repair was if it wasn't changing from floor to vent defrost etc, if so I already did that fix last year when it wasn't switching, whixh fixed that issue.

Thats not an issue im having fortunately as all vents change.

08 Grand marquis ls, AC won't turn on. New compressor 2 years ago. I can hear the compressor click on, but cant get cold to come out(used it 2 days ago was fine) Also when just on vent the temp never changes it stays hot, any ideas?

Seems compressors kicking on and off.

Lines going into car are ice cold. Some sites saying blend door actuator, does that sound right? Anyone wanna make some money and fix this? Cant be with out ac ahh

Said f it got a schwin mountain bike from wally world so i can fart around with the kiddo. Prices of bikes are stupid. If im spending a grand or more on a bike its gonna have a motor.

I can see small yard a kitchen social on site and a railway crossing being a minus though.

700-1.3mill being built its nuts, looks like the first phase is close to the tracks. But that whole areas gonna be huge. So muxhland being used.

My old house is the next street over and it was 1/2 mile from the tracks and you could barely hear it.

We (homebuilder) are totally slammed right now. Nearly double the business of last year. I'm not complaining, but a little break would be sort of nice. Why pay a premium on used, when you can put it towards new I guess is the thought....though with the increase in material prices a lot of them have also doubled, like lumber and steel.

My issue is im basically throwing everything at a wall in Columbus and not seeing much. Could be a timing issue and just need to wait it out for movie inventory as it gets warmer, which is fine. Looking for anything from $400k-$1m in the Westerville, lewis center galena area in a neighborhood.

Im in the market this summer for a house and land out in morrow county, Marango area, prices arent stupid crazy yet but im hoping no praying prices stay the same or drop by july when im ready.

Ill give these a look, when i first glanced at the bike stores 6k bikes popped up and not many under 1k.

Not looking to go jump an airplane, and for sure not gonna get a road bike, ide kick my own ass before riding one of those things.

Did my first race last night. Man its difficult on a controller

Ended up getting pit maneuvered into a wall in the first race on the first lap.... typical people in a racing game.

The question is whether you like driving, on a track. The physics are unreal. This isn't really a video game, more of a simulation. Try driving it like you do in a Need for Speed game and you'll hate it because you'll be off track and in the wall all the time.

oh god no i hate those games, i love Forza motorsport racing, more realistic the better.

I haven't in a little while. Have just spent time on practice. I haven't done a full setup with my wheels and pedals though, so it's a little uncomfortable right now with my desk. I'd use a larger monitor than a laptop, maybe pipe it onto a TV. Or if you have the video horsepower try running it on VR. I'll be getting back into it shortly.

Found a 3 month deal for 5 bucks gonna give it a try. Downloading it, gonna use a controller through, maybe if i like the game upgrade to a wheel setup down the road.

hmm i just got a gaming laptop and haven't played much of anything on it.
