  1. Well I accepted the job, and put my two weeks notice in at Dave Gill. What I was expecting did not happen. I figured like the last few peple to quit I would get told that they would not like for me to continue working and that I was done. Thats not all that uncommon for most automotive shops. However I was pulled into the Gill's office and had an hour discussion about how they want to keep me, and how valued I am, and why didn't I come discuss my issues first, yadda yadda yadda.

My day did not go anything like I thought, they want a couple days to come up with a plan to provide me more work and opportunity. I am still in shock. So now I'm not sure, if they really do make a good attempt to keep me I think I'll stay.

Feels good being wanted by an employer (and a few places at that), but sucks that things are up in the air. What a day.

thats good to hear, see what working your ass off gets you? Hope they make you a deal you cant pass up to stay. goodluck you ugly bastard :lolguy:

  2. I'm not even saying this because you didn't buy my pk380, but I would have bought Radio Flyer's CW9 instead.

I'm sure but rather had a new gun vs a used gun with 1k of rounds through it that was 100 bucks more

Gun felt nice and its inexpensive enough that its ok to get rid of in a few months.

  3. Gun in hand...

    still thinking on it brotaco

Paul, you may want to check out http://www.armslist.com

Lots of people offering up ideas/guns and you don't seem interested in actually buying.

how so? yeah there have been some offers thrown out... maybe im not interested in what they were offering.. maybe its more then i want to spend? this is a for sale section :gtfo:

  4. Im a FF/EMT B and working on becoming a Paramedic then the hard part, finding a job and I know of a few others on here as well.

When I was laid off I was dead set to be a fire fighter but when I talked to people who were already certified, looking for jobs. Or the ones who have worked for townships for years and got laid off. I changed my mind.

When you do get certified, always check out AARF at the Columbus airport.

My best friend was a fire fighter and paramedic in Oregon. .moved to ohio and had retake the firefighter for ohio and it still took Him over a year to find a job at a fire house. He loves it though
